• Prepare the budget of the project and the cost
baseline includes the project’s WBSs with the
distribution of the budget of each WBS and each
activity.
• Monitoring and controlling the actual cost and the committed cost of sub-contractors, supplied materials and manpower against the take-off quantities and approved budgeted unit rates in the budget.
• Tracking all approved changes notices and updating the cost baseline and the Project budget.
• Assisting in Providing monthly cost report with
periodic calculation of Estimate to complete (ETC) and tracking cost performance index(CPI) and schedule performance index(SPI) using earned value technique(EV).
• Report to the cost control manager the deviation
reasons from the cost baseline.
• Preparing actual productivity sheets and curves for budget comparison.
• Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress.
• To determine direct and indirect Cost center distribution monthly wise as per revenue of the projects.
• Calculated correct costs for project-specific goods and services by gathering information from team members, sub contractors and vendors.
• Utilized cost estimation systems to document project information, create estimates and revise project costs to reflect current data.
• Maintained privacy and confidentiality of all information for existing and prospective clients to project personal and business interests.
• Responsible for control and monitor total expenditure of the project including verification and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all the project expenditures are captured and properly
recorded in SAP System.
• Capturing all the actual cost incurred at all project sites. Analyze actual labor, material and overhead cost against budget reviewing and approving the timesheet of manpower, equipment, petty cash of the projects.
• Running all cost control related operations on SAP system. All the analysis are then prepared in MS-Excel.
• Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all the purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project.
• And to perform project related costing report to the team and management review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
• Prepared, Calibrated and monitored production machinery to maintain optimal production levels and consistently achieve daily targets.
• Prepared in advance for and addressed production problems, material defects, equipment failures and unavoidable delays.
