 Ensuring solid Financial Controlling, Reporting, Budgeting, Analysis and Finance Partnering processes, effective and timely performed
 Review of monthly results, budget variances and ad-hoc analysis
 Reviewing all month-end closing activities for both Statutory legal books (in accordance with local requirements) and Group IFRS books
 Preparation and follow-up of Annual Budget and Monthly Forecasts
 Involved in business working capital, P&L and balance sheet planning
 Detailed analysis of profitability at all levels; Product, Station, Lane, Customers and support to all functional heads as and when required;
 Follow up and report operational and financial KPI's as well as ad hoc reports;
 Review of BS reconciliations monthly
 Primary point of contact for Company's external auditors
 Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
 Cash flow preparation and treasury management with corporate banks.
 Primary contact with our corporate legal and insurance departments for any company related matters.
 Acting as CCR( Country Compliance officer) for all legal and compliance matters in the entity

• To plan, organize and direct all accounting and
financial activities in accordance with generally accepted
accounting principles, legal, regulatory, and organization
procedures to ensure that the Finance Department
supports the overall goals of the organization.
• Ensure the effective achievement of departmental
functional objectives through the leadership of the finance
and accounting functions by setting individual objectives,
managing performance, developing and motivating staff,
provision of formal and Informal feedback & appraisal - in
order to maximise subordinate & departmental
performance.
• Prepare, in consultation with the Chief Executive
Officer, the annual budget and forecast according to Agility
regional Head office guidelines to ensure proper planning of
the fiscal year.
• Monitoring ongoing financial performance vs. budget
and QBRs, highlighting variances and recommending action
plan when required.
• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial
statements (Income statements, Balance sheet, cash flow
etc.) and reports according to Agility and country
generally accepted accounting principles to ensure that
the country management, Board of Directors and regional
head office are always updated on the company situation.
• Prepare all supporting information for the annual
audit as requested and liaise with the Boards Audit
Committee and the external auditors as necessary so they
can perform their duties in an efficient and effective
manner.

• Co-Founded a multinational entity in Ghana with 3
branches in 3 regions.
• JD Edwards Implementation and training of the finance team.
• Ensure the efficient operation of the finance and
administration division through timely and meticulous
execution of duties.
• Maintain and implement efficient and effective
systems of internal controls in both computerized and
manual environments covering all facets of the businesses.
• Preparation of financial statements in compliance
with the International Financial Reporting Standards and
statutory framework.
• Obtaining and evaluating the information about the
business and its environment for identifying risk areas and
analysing the level of Fraud risk involved.
• Prepare and revise annual budgets and other
forecasts as may be required, working with and assisting
other divisions of the company.
• Liaise with the companies external auditors to
ensure that and efficient and effective annual audit is
carried out.
• Ensure the timely submission of all statutory returns
and reconciliations.
• Ensure that adequate controls are in effect over the
companys assets including fixed assets, inventories at all
locations, accounts receivable and cash balances.
• Maintains sound financial relationships with
Customers, Vendors, Employees, Bankers and other
shareholders.

• Conducts assigned audit engagements successfully
from beginning to end
◦ Reporting on internal controls by preparing
management letters; including systems evaluation,
identification and reporting of internal control weaknesses
and their rationalisation.
◦ Preparation of financial statements in compliance
with the International Financial Reporting Standards and
statutory framework.
◦ Obtaining and evaluating the information about the
business and its environment for identifying risk areas and
analysing the level of audit risk involved.
◦ Training reviewing and supervising the work of the
junior staff members and developing collaboration,
coordination and team work spirit among the members of
audit team to accomplish demanding jobs within the time,
quality and budgeted targets.
