My duties :
• A. Provides supervision and work direction for all engine room personnel during regular watch and is on call 24 hours/day while on board the vessel.
• B. Verifies and signs the watch and daily log books and records. C. Ensures on-the-job instruction and guidance for assigned trainees
• D. Ensures preventive maintenance activities at sea are carried out on all machinery including heavy diesel engines, air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, electronic, mechanical drive systems, pollution control firefighting and other auxiliary equipment.
• E. Ensures proper operating and repair procedures for all machinery are followed through inspection and spot checks of work in progress.
• F. Initiates requirements for fuel and water, and signs loading documents.
• H. Keeps a running inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair engines and all machineries on board, Supervise and Monitoring the jobs during ship in dry dock, reporting company for engine Jobs, smooth engines operation, preventive plan maintenance, adequate spare parts on Board, daily calculated and recorded fuel oil and lube oil consumption and sounding all Tanks on board .

, very active and finesse, supervise for ships during dry dock (major repair and maintenance, supervisor and leader for all engineers on board ships and maintenance plan & procedures, arrange spare parts for all ships, inspect condition of ships which owner need for buying, cover and support for all engineers information which needed, attend on board ship in case big trouble and repairing .

 Ensure the assigned vessels are technically operational or otherwise managed accordingly to The management agreement requirement.
 Liase with customers on technical and operational matters including vessel performance, etc
 Attend to vessel dry docking, repairs and survey when required and determine repair
 Specifications for dry docking and maintenance.
 Perform monthly review of logs processes and attend to vessel inspections
 Monitor technical status of engine room and all machineries on board
 Supervise contractors’ repair/maintenance of vessels
 Prepares recommendations for work, and initiates procurement of materials.
 Inspects machinery, equipment, or spaces outlined in work request, draws up job specifications, and obtains bids from contractors or shipyards to perform repairs.
 Assessment chief engineers and review as monthly the maintenance plan and closed defect reports.
 Maintains contact with contractors to ensure completion of work at minimum cost.
 Maintains records of engineering costs for each vessel, such as repairs, supplies, and personnel.
 Perform budgeting and cost control measures on ship spares and docking requirements
 Arrange preventive plan maintenance and monitor fuel oil and lube oil consumption of ships
 Review the requisitions of chief engineers and monitor spare parts on board by monthly inventory form (consumption -require-remaining )
 Assist and communicate to chief engineers and give them the solution in trouble shooting case
