Manage process and flow assurance engineering services that meet customer needs and deliver project requirements within estimated budget and schedule with highest quality of work by adhering to company’s procedures and standards.
Simulating processes using Aspen HYSYS and generating Heat & Material Balance and extracting fluid properties for design work.
Performing hydraulic analysis for piping system using hydraulic software and in-house tools.
Equipment sizing for pumps, tanks, control valves, separator and heat exchangers. producing and modifying BFDs, PFDs and P&IDs
Conducting Surge Analysis study for multiple scenarios and calculate the surge pressure and provide recommendation for mitigation measures.
Preparing technical documents: design basis, hydraulic, steady state, exhibit-I, transient report, operational and control philosophy, SoW, technical inquiry and progress reports.
Supporting other disciplines and issuing process data sheets, line list, cause & effect diagram and instrument data using SPI.
Review NMR document and drawings to reflect vendor info and design on PFD & P&IDs.
Support Client Project Design Request PDR and project scoping.
Process Design Engineer with more than 5 years of diversified experience in Oil & Gas Industry and various types of process studies.
Have knowledge in Process Engineering Design activities such as simulation, hydraulic analysis, depressurizing and relief study, budget and team planning. Also, worked on equipment sizing for pumps, separators, tanks, and heat exchangers.
Develop design basis, operation and control philosophies, datasheets, line list, PFD, P&IDs, As-Built/Red-Markup. Participate in safety sessions HAZOP and SIL.
Good working knowledge on Aspen HYSYS, Flare net, HTRI and Fathom. Also, have a creditable knowledge in Flow Assurance Studies using SPS software (Synergi Pipelines Simulator).
Work on SAUDI ARAMCO projects at different stages (DBSP, PP, DD and Construction Support) familiar with SA standards.
Work in developing and updating production and delivery plane as well as assisting in monitoring pipe tracking system. Support project management schedule and monthly production schedule also responsible for preparing production analysis reports (operating, running and stoppage hours). Coordinate and support with purchasing, sales, accounting and other departments for inquiry and scrape evaluation, raw materials, packing list, delivery priorities and scrap sales.
