Nahil Information Management System - (NIMS) is an ERP application. This integrated automation solution supporting for medium & large trading organizations. It covers all business critical functional areas such as Purchase, Stock Inventory, Sales, Financial, Customer support & Maintenance and Personnel system. All the Reports, dashboards and analysis are made using Oracle Forms & Reports 6 with back-end Oracle 9i.
This process loads the entire Sales data, coming from ERP system (NAHIL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM).
Based on the input data from ERP System, ETL processes are designed. The Purpose of this project is to load Analytics Sales tables.
As an Programmer was involved in the following:
• Analyze source and target systems data.
• Involved in importing source/target tables from respective databases.
• Extensively used ETL to load data from oracle.
• Participated in business, detail design and technical documentation for ETL standards,
Procedures and naming conventions, worked under the ETL.
• Worked on different types of transformations like source qualifier, expression, aggregator,
Lookup, union, update transformation, sequence generator transformation.
• Created test cases and test data
• Involved in performance tuning.
• Job Monitoring and taking corrective actions, if necessary.
• Data Analysis and correction for loading, if needed.
• Performance Analysis and Performance Tuning.
• Monitoring of Major sales loads on weekends.
Environment: Informatica 9.1, SQL Developer, TOAD.
The Investment Order Management and Settlement System (IOMSS) is a complete front-to-back STP solution catering to the requirements of Merrill Lynch Saudi Arabia (MLKSA) local investment trading operations and management. IOMSS addresses specific functional requirements of Front, Middle and Back Office users with online and batch interfaces to the Institution’s legacy systems as well as online integration with Reuters Order Routing (ROR). Customers can receive the email whenever their order got filled immediately.
As an Programmer was involved in the following:
• Created Procedures.
• Design and Implement new Enhancement.
• Understanding the requirements and carrying out impact analysis.
• Development & System testing.
• Solving Defect Fixing. Bug Fixing, Deployment, Updating the latest version files in VSS.
• UAT and Live support.
Environment: TOAD, SQL Profiler, VSS, Oracle 10g, PL/SQL, FORMS 6i, Rational Rose, SQL PLUS, SQL Developer.
