Responsible of coordination, preparation and response to WASH emergencies including a components of development program, In particular, scaling up the WASH In Nutrition (WASH In Nut) strategy, response to IDPs and cholera as well as supporting the pacification and the implementation of Sanitation and drinking water supply.

Main tasks and results:
- Contribution for the development of the program strategic note for the WASH
- Contribution to the country's strategic documents:
- Revision of the National WASH in Nut Strategy,
- Integration of WASH in nut in the National Integrated Plan of Nutrition and Food,
- Integration of WASH in nut in the Nutrition communication and advocacy strategy.
- Organization of the WASH In Nut capitalization workshop
- Development of the action plan issue from the capitalization workshop,
- Monitoring of WASH In Nut indicators,
- Coordination of the WASH In Nut thematic group
- Development of the concept note and cholera response plan 2019
- Coordination of the cholera response in the south of Chad
- Organization of the CAMEROON-CHAD cross-border cholera exchange workshop.
- Elaboration of the WASH contribution to monthly SitRep of the Country office
- Elaboration of the rural sanitation through Community-led Total Sanitation approach (CLTS) action plan for 2019-2012
- Organization of trainings for CLTS and WASH in Nut trainers
- WASH Contribution to the proposals: Two DFID, three ECHO, one 7% Set Aside and two CERF-UF, Japanese Gov.
- WASH contribution to donor reports: 2 CERF, 2 DFID, 1 ECHO, 1 Set Aside
- Organization of rapid response for refugees and displaced persons in Lake Chad
- Contributions to annual reports (Emergency output)
- Contributions to the Bi-annual work plan of the country office especially emergency output
- Development and monitoring of seven partnership agreement (PCA) with NGOs for emergency response including rural sanitation
- Recruitment of companies for construction of drinking water supply and latrines and supervision and monitoring of construction works.
- Implementation of a cash for WASH pilot action within the framework of WASH In Nut and CLTS (innovative action)
- Management of Grant for an amount of approximately 2 million dollars

Participation in annual planning and program by cycle (AWP, CPD, UNDAF, Inter-agency contingency plan, etc.), preparation and response to emergencies, advocacy for a stronger commitment of decision-makers for the WASH sectors based, supervision and monitoring of activities in the field with government and civil society partners.
These efforts have contributed to and / or led, among other things, to the following results

1- National level :

• Development of the:
o National sanitation policy and strategy of implementation
o National CLTS guide
o CLTS training package tools for facilitators and regional monitoring committees
o National sanitation marketing strategy,
o Study sanitation marketing and ODF status durability at the local level
o Operational strategy notes for post-ODF monitoring,
o Study on the microbiological quality of household drinking water
o Study on the sustainability of drinking water services in rural areas
o Construction of 15 solar water supply systems for vulnerable populations,
• Success of the CLTS in 2100 villages (1800 ODF) in the five regions (implemented by NGOs and the government),
• Reinforcement of community capacities in 2900 villages for the promotion of WASH essential family practices
• Promotion of local chlorine production: equipment, training and supervision of 40 women's cooperatives for the production and sale of chlorine (3 years)
• Implementation of a complete WASH package (Water supply, Latrines and hygiene promotion) in 83 schools and more than 340 health posts and supply of WASH kits for acute malnourished children (SAM and MAM).
• Establishment and coordination of the WASH-Emergency sector in Mauritania 2012-2018
• Coordination of the urgent response to cholera in the Gorgol region (2011)
• UNICEF team leader during one year in M’Berra refugees camp (Bassiknou-Mauritania), coordination of the UNICEF response (February 2012-February 2013),
• Development of the National WASH In Nut strategy (2013 and 2015),
• Ensured leadership of HNO/HRP processes and monitoring of indicators in the regional OCHA platform at national level

• Management of the Swiss NatCom Grant 2015-2018 ($ 1.3 million) from the start to the end of the project
• Management of emergency Grant between 2013 and 2018 for an amount of approximately $ 2.5 Million

a. Congo Brazzaville UNICEF CO: Support mission to the UNICEF office as part of the emergency response and the implementation of CLTS:
• Assessment in the refugee’s camp
• Finalize of partnership agreements (PCA) for the implementation of WASH activities in the refugee’s camp
• Purchase of WASH NFI for refugees

b. Chad UNICEF CO: Stretch assignment three month as part of the nutritional crisis response and CLTS implementation

• Monitoring of the sanitation component of the PEGG Project (AFD) (Construction of latrines in schools and awareness campaign on the management of wastewater and family latrines),
• Monitoring of drinking water supply and sanitation studies in the localities located along the Aftout Essahilli pipeline
• Organization of workshops on sanitation policy and CLTS approach in Mauritania,
