Responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse. Oversee that materials are received, stored, shipped
Follow up with daily customer requirement and proposing new ideas of service
Planning, Organizing, Managing stock control and Controlling of Warehouse & Logistics over-all operations
- Follow up & control daily absence and over time.
- Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock
. Planning, Coordinating, and monitoring Operations activities At All Warehouse Functions.
• Following Deadlines and Accomplishes tasks within a fixed timelines by understanding obstacles and finding solutions.
• Setting up new processes and improving efficiency of current processes.
• Managing and Reporting on KPIs as well as other performance measures/appraisals.
• Ensuring optimal space utilization in warehouses and efficient use of Material Handling Equipment keeping in mind quality standards as well as budget constraints.
• Managing physical inventory in all warehouses by controlling material movement and company dispatch process
• Collaborate with other departments and divisions to integrate logistics with business systems and processes.
• Identifying & delivering operational cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives
Responsible for warehouse improvements, maintenance, verification, inquiries of warehouse operations
Planning, organizing and controlling of warehouse’ over-all operations. As inbound, outbound, packing, training and cycle count.
• Responsible for the operations & management activities particularly planning and analyzing the daily sales Stock Replenishment - expires and near expires (FIFO / FEFO).
•Monitoring K Pi's scores Vs agreed business plan targets defining reasons of weaknesses and giving suggestions & solutions.
•Controlling warehouse expenses and cost Vs agreed budget.
•Making plans to develop staff of warehouse by internal / on-job training.
•Monitoring and Following the Production Plan to Prepare Packing Requirements.
•Manage Inventory with SAP system.
•Allocating & managing staff resources according to changing needs.
•Managing layout & space.
•Maintaining the implementation of the FIFO concept & 5S rules
•Monitoring and maintaining stock accuracy by carry out periodic stock accounting to ensure the physical stock is in line with WMS and ensure all stock movements are recorded .
•Reviewing and monitoring the daily job routine of Sections (Packing, Storage and Shipping).
•Prepare SOP for warehouse operations, in addition train warehouse people, insuring of generating and implementing all the required SOP's in order to covers all instructions with high levels of quality
•Monitoring the quality, Effective and efficiency of the All Warehouse Operations Based on SOP's .
•Review the handovers from the previous shift and the schedules for the day and delegates operational tasks to team leaders
•Planning & controlling all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
•following, monitoring and controlling daily reports (productivity, warehouse procedures, overtime and vacation plan)
Ensure safe operating conditions exist throughout the warehousing and material handling processes and monitor the stocked Materials status during the warehouses daily tour. Promptly correct the unsafe conditions. • Supervise the issuance of daily reports which show Daily Production Report, Available Stock • Follow up and ensure the weekly production planning implementation in coordination with production department to achieve the monthly production planning. • Ensuring documented SOPs are in place and properly respected, maintained and updated • Ensuring the allocation of correct resources (manpower, tools, ) to each warehouse • Planning the Raw Material Requirements and scheduling of arrivals according to planned production, and maintaining the required safety stocks • Controlling & Reporting of Logistics KPIs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Ensures operations are conducted as per the SOP’s and the IMS Procedures in place and reports on any deviations with suggestions, if any, to the Shift Supervisor. • Ensures preventive maintenance is undertaken on the MHE’s under his purview. • Supervises and delegates housekeeping tasks regularly for optimum space utilization. • Guides and motivates the personnel under his control for performance enhancement. • Coordinates and supports the Shift Supervisor in administrative tasks of his team. • Coordinates with the Stock Control Team for resolving discrepancies and non conformities.
