ð Help the accounting team to enrich their knowledge of accounting standards.
ð Review the accuracy and completeness of the finance team transactions in all modules GL, Payroll, AP, Fixed Assets, Inventory and cash management
ð Prepare financial reports Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly and other reports based on the management requirements
ð Prepare the budget for next year and Long Range Planning for the next 5 years.
ð Study the feasibility of new investments and their effects on cash flows and loans settlements
Reporting to: CEO
Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic advice and financial guidance for business development and new venture initiatives.
• Ensure the preparation, maintenance and analysis of regular financial planning reports and monthly profit and loss
• Oversee the financial reporting and maintenance of all accounts book, policies and procedures
• Responsible for cash flow forecast, balance sheet management and cost control
• Communicate financial results to all stake holders, BODs, investors, auditors and government officials
Reporting to: CFO
It contains two parts I was doing in parallel:
First; The reporting tasks: Being the point of reporting, budgeting and for number of subsidiaries as follows:
o Prepared annual Budget for number of subsidiaries o Monitored business performance by budget vs actual monthly variance analysis o Prepared different types of reporting for senior executives o Consolidation within business group o Forecasting business model of investment targets and cash flow projection o Coordinated improvements in automated financial and management information systems o Participated in a Due diligence to acquire 24% of a telecom company in Iraq o Participated in a Due diligence to sell unprofitable businesses of the group.
I was doing the reporting tasks from Mar 2008 to Apr 2014
Second; The accounting tasks: Accounting in accordance to IFRS o Cost controls and cash management, approving journal entries, reviewing works of other accountants and other finance tasks.
I was acting finance manager for PWC Aviation (Agility's subsidiary) from Mar 2008 to Aug 2011
And I was acting finance manager for Agility real estate from Sep 2011 to Apr 2014
ERP: (Oracle and Hyperion)

Responsibilities:
• Aided the audit director in planning the audit process by tailoring audit programs for specific areas of clients of different industries
• Managed team members, gave them training in the job, explained how to complete the job, reviewed their works, and rotate areas responsibilities, which led to broaden their knowledge
• Performed internal audit for 2 Kuwaiti companies; 90% of recommendations were implemented within 6 months
• Managed clients relationship and helped the new Kuwaiti partner of KPMG to acquire more business, through strong client service led to acquire 6 audit clients more in Kuwait office

Responsibilities:
• Prepared financial statements for clients, and helped them to comply with local regulatory and stock exchange requirements
• Produced consolidated financial statements for group clients in accordance to IAS and IFRS
• Prepared reports to clients management, that includes recommendations for improvements and explained financial effects of corrective adjusting entries required to prepare correct financial data
• Performed detailed audit programs procedures for each category/account of the financial statements
• Conducted special assignment for a client to review the quality of revenue, which led to acquisition of 50% stake of the targeted investment

Responsibilities:
• Identified weaknesses in the control systems, by conducting tests of financial controls and did walk-through of processes, such as revenue recognition, expenses recording, purchases cycle
• Executed detailed audit procedures, reviewed transactions and traced them to documents and records, reviewed management reports and compared them to policies and procedures for accuracy and completeness
• Documented audit procedures followed and prepared working papers that summarized professional assessment of clients accounting records
• Maintained accounting books, passed entries, prepared reconciliations (suppliers, receivables and banks) and prepared annual and quarterly reports for accounting clients
