Role:
Bidding and Tendering preparation, processing and evaluation.
Contribute to the review of prepared Main Contract/ Subcontract proposals
Support the Operations in the Planning and budgeting on newly awarded
projects
Ensure continuous updating of project quantities based on construction
developments, including VOs, completion of detailed design, etc., and pass on
the updated quantities to all concerned (primarily Operations, Procurement,
and Cost Control).
Prepare correspondence to clients regarding progress certificates/ invoices/ VOs
Assist in negotiations of VOs and financial claims submitted by subcontractors
Ensure timely assistance of Operations in the substantiation and documentation
of VOs and claims
Assist in preparing correspondence to clients regarding financial claims
Review and controls invoices and associated correspondence submitted by
subcontractors
Formalize deductions/retentions to subcontractors’ account
Ensure that all items in the checklist for Subcontractor’s Final Payment have
been fulfilled
Negotiate settlements with subcontractors for compensation that is not
claimable under main contract
Provide support in the Vendor VO issuance process, and updates the log to
indicate closure of the subcontractor RFV.
Ensure applications for payments are received in a timely manner
Prepare periodic commercial reports.
Initiate and follow up preventive and corrective actions in coordination with
other departments such as the cost control department and financial
department.
Work closely with operations, Planning and Cost Control to ensure timely and
accurate reporting
Ensure maximum support to Operations and Quantity Surveyors on project
sites for the timely preparation of invoices
Analyze and Review the Cost Control and Financial Reports to ensure that the
Company’s financial KPIs are met
Identify and track KPIs for the commercial Unit, and devise plans and initiatives
for improvement
Prepare, monitor, update and communicate the Risk register relating to
contractual issues
Attend the Financial and Executive Meetings.
Projects:
King Salman Park which will be the largest urban park in the world expanding
across more than 16 square kilometers. The Park will be an environmental,
sports, cultural and entertainment project. Moreover, it will significantly
contribute in changing and improving the lifestyle of all Riyadh residents, and
will include various buildings and facilities such as the Royal Art Complex, a
National Theater, Art Academies, as well as Museums and Galleries.
The South Border Housing Project (SBH) comprises Design and Building of
Housing Units for Border Guards, which includes Apartment Buildings, Villas &
Ancillary Building units that include Masjids, Primary & Secondary Schools,
Administration, Clinics, Warehouses, Vehicle Service Stations, STP, RO
Stations, Guard Houses. Budget: 5 Billion Saudi Riyals
