- Manage Logistics Operations for all origins, all modes of transportation.
- Management of manual shipments (not integrated with the system), direct (freight controlled by CAT) and non-direct (freight controlled by MG)
- Manage collaboration and integration with Power & Machines divisions. As well as the Business units Management Level.
- Work with Development to improve the Logistics System for Power & Machines
- Work on Power & Machines Logistics KPIs. Cost, Lead Times. For System Integration for Power & Machines Logistics.
- Inventory control. Oversee the responsibilities of inventory control focusing on the key KPIs, development, implementation of new processes and procedures and efficiency development.
- Marketing programs. Works with the Suppliers to develop and manage all marketing campaigns Ensure alignment between Supplier and Dealer strategies.
- Drive Marketing Initiatives across the Group. Monitor progress and reports on results. Works with marketing on development of external advertisements and promotions.
- Ensures that Marketing specialists are correctly utilized, agree sales development plans, and the benefit realized by each specialist clearly demonstrated.
- Makes sure that Customer Support Agreements pricing is correctly calculated, CSA admin systems are accurately implemented and followed. Makes full use of group developed resources.
- Sales Team training across the territory making sure that accurate and frequent communication is shared with the Management team on the training progress, evaluation and Supplier courses and needs are achieved
- Manages the condition monitoring customer interface including product link subscription invoicing, oil analysis system development and reporting, incremental business reporting, quoting and follow up reporting.
- Travels regularly to all branches to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed as well as people development and team communication.
- Ensures that results of transaction surveys and other marketing surveys are followed up on and all alerts are closed correctly.
- Suppliers reporting, verifies that all information provided to Suppliers monthly and quarterly reports are accurate and provided on time.
- Systems development and analysis. Ensures improvements projects and are run to increase efficiency and reduce waste are in line with CPS methodology.
- PTOS. Ensures the PTOS data base is updated and maintained, reports are accurate and all systems are maintained.
- Formulate the department objectives, plans and budgets.
- Coordinate with Product Support managers to ensure that stocks in the branches are adequate to the population in the area.
- Meeting with Mining / major customers to review and improve performance to better support the challenges and the customer’s needs.
- Work with Suppliers to ensure that the premium service provided “UI, CAT, Bucyrus, etc.”
- Prepare and execute the team development plans and the training needs for the staff.
- Ensures the prompt delivery of parts through warehouses (Cost and Lead time).
- Manage the Supply chain of inbound and outbound flow of materials.
- Manage the performance of the clearance agents and ensure it is matching the committed targets and contracts.
- Provides guidance to the team and take appropriate actions to solve work challenges.
- Handles customer’s complaints that need management intervention.
- Prepares short and long-term plans for extensions in warehouses, new branches, developing and computerizing work systems.
- Controls the receipt and storage of incoming parts, reviews discrepancies and follow up for its resolution.
- Reviews inventory stocks and items to be replenished for various stock decisions.
-Formulate the department objectives, plans and budgets. Prepares the department annual plans and budgets for director review and approval.
-Coordinates with parts sales manager to ensure that stocks in the branches are adequate to the population in the area.
-Ensures the prompt delivery of parts through warehouses.
-Reviews the subordinate’s reports, provides professional guidance to them and takes appropriate actions to solve work problems.
-Monitors achievements and results and follow up the implementation of related plans and decisions.
-Handles customers’ problems and complaints that need management intervention.
-Participates in the formulation and development of parts sales policy.
-Controls the receipt and storage of incoming parts, reviews discrepancies and follow up for its resolution.
-Ensures the department staffing with complete and self-motivated personnel and supervises the selection of new employees to fill vacant position when exist.
-Ensures the proper implementation of company personnel compensation schemes to keep division employees highly motivated. This includes recommendation of improvements/changes to such schemes to suit the department requirements.
-Supervises the identification of training needs and coordinates for the execution of proper training plans for employees.
-Reports to Parts director on work progress and problems and submits regular reports on time.
-Supervises performance appraisal for the division staff, reviews recommended actions and submits the final recommendations for management review/approval.
-Reviews computer printouts on main warehouse inventory stocks and items to be replenished various stock decisions.
-Analyses items which significantly fluctuated sales and rates and recommends which ones to be ordered.
-Amends stocked quantities on the system.
-Directs the activities of stock replenishment supervisor for branches and non Caterpillar.
-Perform any other related duties as required.
-Supervise Caterpillar parts sales ordering, shipping and invoicing for multinational sub-companies and dealers in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Iraq and Russia.
-Monitor, analyze and report promptly Caterpillar parts orders lead time and landed cost through an up-to-date database.
-Plan cost effective schemes for parts shipments to the various territories with an aim to increase parts availability and reduce inventories and lead times.
-Liaise with international forwarders, such as DHL Danzas Air and Ocean, Panalpina for parts shipments and destination clearance, revising the existing contracts and implementing new ones.
-Liaise with international inspection agencies, such as ITS, Cotecna for pre-shipment inspections and attestation of quality.
-Coordinate all parts issues with Caterpillar supply facilities in Brussels, United States.
Providing the Internet Support and troubleshooting plus taking client calls
(Dial-up, ISDN, DSL)
Opening New Market for the new trend in communication and marketing using the Internet and S/W tools to enhance the business productivity.
Responsible for making the employee’s schedule and the franchise paperwork, follow up the advertising campaigns as well as making the food order and managing the Inventory.
Parts of the company team to provide Companies with complete IT solutions (H/W - S/W - NETWORKS - Web).
Providing the Internet Support through call center and troubleshooting software and hardware, setting up Internet connection and maintaining if errors occur.
