Production of safe materials and healthy natural materials instead of industrial products for use in the food industry.
This project was intended to develop an epoxy resin using safe/renewable biomaterial resources, rather than synthetic components that are proven to be toxic.
Responsible for of the water plant in order to ensure that residents have safe and clean water in accordance with federal, territorial and municipal legislation, policies and standards.
Oversee the treatment, distribution and daily operations of water treatment facilities. Supervise teams of operators, institute plant policies and procedures, direct training programs and complete employee performance reviews. Ensure that the plant and its operators comply with state health standards by regularly testing the water supply and keeping meticulous records. Also responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition.
Responsibility was the QC/QA testing of drinking water.
- Plans and coordinates activities of workers in operation and maintenance of waterworks system to ensure adequate water supply for human consumption, industrial use.
-Manage and maintain internal lab including maintenance/calibration of lab equipment.
- Recommend treatment and procedures to operations for maintaining water quality standards.
- Ensure monitoring and reporting on environmental compliance is maintained.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies as required for environmental compliance.
- Respond to water quality complaints and customer inquiries, taking appropriate.
- Schedules and coordinates activities concerned with processing and distributing water.
- Assigns personnel to shifts to operate filtering and chemical treatment, coagulating and settling basins, and other plant facilities.
- Determines action to be taken in event of emergencies such as machine, equipment or power failure, or need to release dammed water to affect flood control.
- Prepares plans and specifications for new equipment or modification of existing equipment to affect increased operational capacity or efficiency.
