Company as QA\QC (Quality Assurance\Quality Control) Manager, Deputy CWD (Civil Work Department) Manager, at Egypt for the Light Rail Transit Project, the LRT cover more than 90 kilometers and consist of 19 stations, 11 bridges, 2 tunnels, Badr Depot and stabling yard. connect the region’s upcoming Administrative Capital with other districts around Greater Cairo, such as Shorouk City, Obour City, Robikeay, 10th Ramadan City, Badr City, Future City, New Capital Stations. In addition, the railway system will have a connection to the Cairo Metro Line 3 (CML3) and High Speed Rail (HSR).

Job Responsibility:
• The daily management of designated sections on the sites, coordination work of internal and external if any.
• Responsible for supervising the designated subcontractors work on the sites to ensure all the sites are progressing as scheduled and that all the activities are following the technical requirements and client/consultant instructions.
• Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals and objectives. • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progress.
• Report project progress, risks and issues as per the predefined project governance. . Replying to letter Received from sub-contractors (SCs) or, Consultant (KAE), Employer (NAT).
• Gives proposals to the Sub-Contractor for the elaboration of smaller project solutions and project additions for the purpose of more rational and efficient construction, i.e. construction of individual parts of the facility or execution of works. • Preventing or eliminating the claims from the subcontractors and client. • Promotes open communication and collaboration between all parties to ensure that projects are completed with minimal disruptions and delays
• Coordination between National Authority for tunnels (NAT) Sections Heads regarding all the project updates
• Maintain supplier audits & internal audits to discover opportunities for improvement.
• The preparation of quality manual, project quality plan and supervision of all amendments and revisions.
• Regular quality reporting, driving the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) relevant for the respective project phases. In this way you provide an overview of the current project status and identify critical situations at an early stage.
• Coordinate between all interested for the updating technical issue
• Ensure effective implementation of ITP (inspection test plan) exists on the Site to control the relevant activity during execution and, if needed, get the ITP (inspection test plan) revised.
• Ensure that the NCR (non-conformance report) relevant closed out prior to covering up the work by subsequent activities.
• Ensure that all measuring and testing devices / equipment’s being used (when and where) required are calibrated periodically against certified standard equipment’s.
• Carry out audit / visit to the suppliers’ Ensure adequate QC (Quality Control) staff is available in QC (Quality Control) department to carry out their task effectively.
• Ensure latest approved documents implemented at the work point and all obsolete / superseded documents removed from the work point.
• Ensure that the work carried out on Site in compliance with the approved drawings, specification requirements and the quality management system.
• Ensure that the DOCUMENT CONTROL SYSTEM effectively implemented.
• Coordinate with the designer and technical office where required to resolve quality issues or problem in site.
• Coordinate with all relevant departments in connection with quality matters.
• Ensure Quality records / documents as required by quality policy maintained.

Phase 3A : from ATTABA to TBM Exit Shaft leading to the Cut and Cover Section
Phase 3B : from Exit Shaft to ROD EL FARAG CORRIDOR
Phase 3C : from Diverting Structure to CAIRO UNIVERSITY

The Joint Venture (EFJV) for the work G2 Contract is composed of 4 partners as follow:
VINCI CONSTRUCTION GRANDS PROJECTS from France
ARAB CONTRCTOR (Egypt)
Bouygues Travaux Publics - BYTP (France)
ORASCOM Construction - OC (Egypt).

Job Responsibility:
• Coordinates with the construction team and EFJV sub contractors ( SOI JV which consist of SOLETANCHE BACHY + ORASCOM +INTRAFOR for Diaphragm walls (water stop techniques) and Grouted Plug Execution) to follow the execution stages and onsite inspection
• Conduct onsite inspection for EFJV / its subcontractors and check all necessary activities for conformance with the drawings as per the project specification
• Review and release reports submitted by subcontractors for final inspection before starting with the subsequent activities
• Prepare release reports to be submitted to the client for final inspection
• Prepare daily/weekly surveillance reports to direct manager
• Coordinates with EFJV laboratory for onsite tests
• Review material certificates for all materials used by subcontractors to ensure that they meet project requirements and specification
• Carry out any other duties as and when required

•Assisting PM for the preparation and issue of Project Quality Plan.
•Update, control and implementation of Project Quality Plan at site.
•Monitoring, inspecting, communicating and verifying the status of quality related activities in project execution, construction materials, sub-contractor control
•Confirming the status and assuring that inspections are ready for consultants.
•Assuring the quality of the works carried out and materials used at site are conforming to the specifications.
•Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QC Programs as per the Clients’s Quality Policy.
•Coordinate the document controls of technical submittals, drawings, etc with the Project Team and to ensure that the QC validation has been done, to ensure their issue, amendments and recall of controlled documents.
•Coordinate all inspections, monitor the required tests and record inspections and tests made pas the Contract Plan and Contract Specifications.
•Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.
•Provide technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff in submission of materials for approval, request for inspection, shop drawings.
•Preparing daily, weekly, anticipated weekly and monthly reports.
•Attend Weekly & Monthly Project Review Meetings (PRM) and alert the project team of any potential problems
