Working at ADNOC Offshore under contract of OKOOL MANPOWER RECRUITMENT SERVICES.
Handling the responsibilities of Senior Electrical Technician since 2018.
Supervising the functions of troubleshooting & predictive / preventive / breakdown maintenance for identifying areas of obstruction/ breakdowns and reducing machinery downtime to minimum.
Manage and Supervise Electrical activities at site on a day -to-day basis and responsible for Electrical activity as per scheduled plan.
Active participation in drafting work orders and obtaining work permits, evaluating jobs, determining materials and other essentials required.
Conversant with standard switching and isolation / earthing procedures of MV equipment.
Guiding and assisting Technicians in examining individual components or circuits to identify faults, carrying out various electrical tests, p roviding technical instructions and inspecting completed repair work to ensure functional operation of appliances.
Maintaining familiarity with all company offshore electrical system which include power Generators (45 MVA), Distribution Transformers (22KV/ 11KV - 37.5 & 45 MVA), switch gears (22KV, 6.6KV & 380V), engine driven Generator (1625 VA), HV motors (6.45 MW max.), LV motors (220 KW max.), Battery Chargers (1020 AH max.), UPS system (100 KVA max.), MCC, Power Management System, Cranes and other Utili ties.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance including overhauling work on electrical equipment's in accordance with the schedules.
Prepare and review preventive/corrective maintenance procedures adhering to the HSE regulations.
Anchoring on-site activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
Actively participated in providing training, guidance and coaching to developees and newly employed UAE nationals to achieve high level of competency and timely integration.
Actively coordinating with Planning and other sections for shut down jobs.
Participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & debottlenecking.
Troubleshoot complex and recurring problems and recommend cost effective solutions.
Good knowledge about Hazardous zone, Temperature category, explosion protection etc.
Good understanding and working knowledge of Permit to Work system.
Leading Electrical & Automation maintenance staff of Material Handling Department for 3 years.
•Effectively leading and managing a group of 5 Engineersand7 technicians. Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of electrical department.
•Providing guidance to junior staff in the areas of leadership, continuous improvement and decision-making.
•Manage and Supervise Electrical activities at site on a day -to-day basis and responsible for Electrical activity as per scheduled plan.
•Formulating maintenance budgets & conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
•Maintaining electrical spares stock levels to meet future demand.
•Managing overall activities pertaining to operation & maintenance of electrical systems & equipment's.
•Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditure and work within the budget.

•Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.
