 Drive conceptual design strategies by reviewing architecture work products to ensure quality, traceability, effectiveness and timeliness of the solution design process
 Partner with business stakeholders and project teams to translate business and technical requirements into detailed solution designs which incorporate people, process and technology aspects
 Present solution deigns at all required stages to the Solution Architecture Review Committee
 Support the impact analysis of solution designs for changing business requirements
 Support the maintenance of business and application domain architecture by collaborating with enterprise architecture subject matter experts and third-party application architects
 Serve as a functional and technical expert for an application, a defined set of applications or a portfolio of related applications

Business Requirements related
 Share in preparing department budgets and forecasts ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to meet managing initiatives

 Assist with preparation of RFP documents and provide recommendations on system related issues, Share in manage and perform software and vendor selection processes.
 Maintain the relationship with vendors once they are selected; manage their performance as it relates to the specific project deliverables.

Quality Assurance related
 Develop policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards for managing application resources.
 Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end user requirements
 Devises test plans and assists in testing of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects
 Performs organization change control and communication standards whenever changes are made to the systems

Application Support - Functional related

 Manages a team supporting and/or implementing software project(s) and/or internal systems. Defines documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria.
 Motivates, inspires, and encourages others to perform well. Leads through change and adversity with ease. Makes the tough call when needed and effectively influences the actions and opinions of others.
 Assigns responsibility for tasks and decisions to minimize confusion or error. Sets clear objectives and measures and monitors the process, progress, and results to ensure success. Designs feedback loops into work to ensure constant and effective lines of communication. Evaluate and manage employee performance, and establish employee training and development plans that align with organization development philosophy, Develop and coach high potential employees for growth opportunities

Application Support - Technical related
 Performs research and fact finding to develop or modify information systems
 Prepares detailed specifications from which programs, modules or enhancements will be purchased, written, or modified
 Performs system, process and application monitoring and gathers metrics
 Analysis and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary
 Produces documentation as necessary
 Performs routine maintenance tasks required to keep existing systems operational
