Integrating with providers for payments services, Buy Now Pay Later, eKYC and customer onboarding as well as integration with liquidity and pricing providers (StoneX, SAM) using FIX protocols to create a next generation distribution platform for financial services relying on Cloud infrastructure

• Reporting to the CEO, member and moderator of the company’s Steering Committee. Successfully built Beltone’s IT from scratch starting from design of all IT services offered and translating these services into systems and applications along with the corresponding hardware and data centers required to maintain such an operation across locations (in Cairo, Dubai, Sauid Arabia, Libya, Qatar, New York and London).
• Provided Strategic solutions to all areas of investment banking: brokerage, asset management, market making, investment banking, private equity, research and custody while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.
• Managing IT integration between Beltone and acquired companies to streamline operations, remove any redundancies and improve efficiency of internal processes.
• Some of the applications that I selected and implemented include ERP (SAP), CRM, Order Management Systems (Sungard), back and middle office operations, asset management front and back office systems (Advent), IP telephony and collaboration (Avaya), LAN & WAN design (Cisco) as well as security solutions from client endpoint security to Intrusion Prevention Systems. • Provide continuous evaluation of current vs new technologies and systems used to always optimize operations and make sure IT always provides best services at the best cost available. Led the design and implementation of a regional Direct Market Access trading platform that increased revenues by around 20% as well as the development of the Online Trading portal which increased revenues by another 15% while reducing IT costs by 50% over 3 years.
• Create a Digital transformation strategy involving solutions based on Artificial Intelligence service multiple business lines
• Managing the product development life cycle of all EastNets capital markets product portfolio.
• Provide pre-sales support in gathering client requirements and developing solutions, proposals and doing client presentations and demos as well as responding to RFPs.
• Create and conduct brand and product awareness along with training campaigns internally and to clients
• Reporting to the Senior Advisor to the Minister for the development of Egyptian Customs Authority, I was responsible for overseeing IT operations of 760 IT staff in 20 customs outlets distributed across Egypt.
• Successfully achieved mandate of improving operational efficiency and implementing measures to reduce corruption.
• Coordinating with international aid providers such as the USAID, EUAID, Swiss Aid as well as managing consultants and partners from Booz Allen Hamilton and IT solution providers.
• Development of complete technical infrastructure plan and design for the Egyptian Customs Authority including Hardware (servers, storage, networks, security, connectivity) and software licenses.
• Overseeing all IT Division heads, direct supervision and responsibility for Business Operations, Networks and Security, Technical Operations and Technical Support and Development divisions.
• Managed the design & development of a Bonds Primary Dealers system, Market alerts system, Disclosure system, Intranet, Extranet (Remote Trading), Document Archiving system.
• Established and headed the Change Management committee. Issued a full LAN upgrade and managed the tender from RFP to evaluation and selection.
