suppliers and subcontractors’ claims.

Key Accomplishment:
In Gulf:
a. Improved and reshaped business development and Estimation policies in MENA for more specific prospecting to reflect company’s portfolio strategy and capabilities.
b. Recovered all company’s dues and resolved claims issues with all clients in MENA, commercially as well as legally.
c. Led the snagging, contractual and legal closing phase of Discovery Gardens project in Dubai (36 G+4/5 residential buildings), and negotiated settlements with 160+ creditors
where I successfully dropped 60% of their dues.
d. Built company’s database and identified the potential customers and partners, and approached most of them.
e. Formed and led tendering team and was the Bid Capitan of overseas tendering team in mega size tenders in MENA.
f. Secured and commenced two new projects through personal contacts:
e.1 Bahrain: 323 Villas at Riffa Views (AED 600 Million).
e.2 Saudi Arabia: 100 G+5 of National Housing Program
(SAR 1.0 Billion).
f. Added great value to business creation through sharp markets survey and smooth establishment of Project Management division within the group.
g. Approached the most likely customers and secured a project management contract with Dubai World Central to build the first three SMART hotels in the region, 200 rooms each (AED 300m).
h. I was income generating employee by providing
professional project management supervision, costs,
Engineering, Procurement and Contracts consultancy
services to customers.
i. Established the Estimation team in MENA and built
company’s database with big network of customers,
partners and vendors, and closed USD 8.0 Billion tenders in competitive dry cost pricing prior HQ’s management reserves insertions.
j. Secured two projects in Dubai: JAFZA Convention Centre (AED 1.9 Billion) + Precast Factory at DIC (AED 100 Million)
In North Africa:
a. Established the office and entire business in Tripoli.
b. Managed to align company’s position and to build
company’s reputation with potential customers / partners.
c. Secured two cost-plus contracts (USD 1.2 Billion).
d. Led Initiation, Planning and Execution phases of secured
projects, and commenced mobilization and construction
works up to superstructure skeleton by very limited
resources prior uprisings implication.
Responsible for:
1 Detailed Design and Shop Drawing preparation & approval.
2 Mobilization of underground potable water network at Al Ain Industrial City, all surveying, earth works, pipe laying and concrete works for supports and chambers.
Accomplishment:
- Completed the assigned scope in four months.
Responsible for:
1 Site Construction in direct labour management besides major subcontractors.
2 Arch/Civil Design, Procurement, QS, Planning, Estimation & Drafting activities.
Accomplishment:
Execution of USD 41 million projects in Abu Dhabi, Swaihan, Ramhan Island, Navy Base, Air Base, etc for reputed clients; UAE Armed Forces, Department of Presidential Affairs, etc.
Responsible for:
1 Sites Inspections for building projects.
2 Structural and Architectural design on Staad and SAP
softwares, and drafting construction drawings on ACAD.
