• Managing procurement activities for Al- AbdulKarim Holding company.
• Identifying and sourcing new International & Local suppliers for various engineering products and services related to electrical works.
• Supporting Sales divisions with sourcing, agreeing contract terms and negotiating commercial terms to ensure optimum total cost of ownership
• Developing, implementing and managing the procurement process after obtaining necessary management approvals on the process policies designed.
• Proven experience of developing key supplier relationships.
• Maintain the BOQ with updates from vendors until after awarding the contract.
• Receiving the price quotations. (competitive quotes)
• Prepare schedule of comparison
• Preparing work order & Coordination with Engineers and vendors Regarding Material Delivery
• Establish delivery terms, time and stages of inspection for the supply with Project Management Team.
• Ensure that all potential vendors are provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements.
• Negotiate the best payment terms and contract conditions, maintaining high level of integrity.
• Keep accurate records to justify the process and any other related decisions made in this regard
• Issuance of Purchase order.
• Tracking and expediting of Shipment.
• Client acceptance/rejection, warranties and other related follow up matters with the supplier till completion of Project.
• Keep updated with market developments and assist in Vendor Development.
• Regularly train on company development programs.
• Report on budget versus Actual performance on project-wise basis
• Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and Company engineers and other personnel to facilitate standardization and economical Procurement.
• Other duties assigned by Superior
• Extensive knowledge in Electrical Designing.
• Survey and estimation of materials required.
• To plan and execute the job within time without cost overrun.
• Manpower Management.
• Materials store Management.
• Responsible for preparation of Project Progress Report.
• Regular reconciliation of materials with contractor.
• Coordinating with Project management and planning team to fix the project baseline schedule.
• Follow up, coordinating with contractors and clients to complete the work within stipulated time and budgeted cost.
• To take Safety measures on Labours at site.
• Maintaining Proper communication between Department persons and our superior
