Responsible for managing the daily, monthly, and yearly general ledger closing and departmental reporting cycle, informing the Department Accounting Manager of any operational or accounting issues which develop. Responsible for assisting in solution development and controlling the department reporting process. Responsible for issue resolution with regard to accounting systems entries. Thorough working knowledge of all equipment, systems, and technology necessary to complete duties and responsibilities.
Computer skills and competences
Advanced proficiency in Excel spreadsheet and Word. Advanced experience with automated general ledger system. Also possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Works Suite 2007. Certified in ICDL application.
