Cairo west super critical power plant 1*650MW Assigned as a senior mechanical engineer (owner REP) for inspection and project activities follow up with many responsabilties like:
1-Co-ordinate between other various disciplines for project activities from start till project finish.
2-Provide day-to-day updates to the Project Manager regarding all related activities of the Project.
3-Review the engineering documents/drawings
Guide and direct Foreman and workforce to effectively execute the works.
4-Help project manager in planning necessary work force, materials and machinery for the timely completion of the project.
5-Perform QA QC activities like RFI and surveillance notes.
6-Review test packages and turn over packages for mechanical systems (piping and equipment).
7-Site inspection activity for mechanical activities (piping systems, hydro-test, leak test, insulation, positioning - pre alignment -final alignment of static and rotary equipment ).
8-Attend the internal meeting with sub-contractors for achieving the requirements of contracts.
9-Open and close mechanical punch list .
Buhasa integrated oil field
Work as a mechanical engineer assigned as a piping supervisor from June 2018 till April 2109
With many responsibilities like:
• Inspect pressure parts like water walls, spiral walls and steam coils.
• Piping Erection / pipe support fabrication and Erection
• Mark Loops for Hydro test & Carry out/Supervise all relevant testing before commissioning and handing over.
• Ensure the day-to-day activities on site, making sure the progress is being completed according to approved drawings and approved material submitted
• Informing the Project Manager regarding material status on the site and preparing the requirement for the upcoming.
• Check the punch items and close it with the owner to take ECC and TOC release.
• Inspect static equipment like burners and skids.
• Review of as built drawings in coordination with contractor and engineering department.
• Inspect all ducts like air duct, gas duct and wind box.
• Open and close mechanical punch list .
Work as senior site engineer assigned for piping installation of steam turbine and BOP for module 10 and 40 with many responsibilities like:
• Piping fabrication and Erection / pipe support fabrication and Erection
• Mark Loops for Hydro test & Carry out/Supervise all relevant testing before commissioning and handing over
• Ensure the day-to-day activities on site, making sure the progress is being completed according to approved drawings and approved material submitted
• Informing the Project Manager regarding material status on the site and preparing the requirement for the upcoming
• Managing the work force.
• Ensure all the equipment used in the site are properly maintained and calibrated if required.
• Inspect received material in the site and check delivery note and PO and inform Project Manager
• Review of as built drawings in coordination with contractor and engineering department
construction engineer for super critical boiler (cp-105) under supervision of Ac boiler and Pegesco at south helwan super critical power plant (3*650MW) with many Responsabilaties like foundation handover, steel structure eriction, and assigned for pressure part eriction and piping installation.
Construction engineer at west dameitta combined cycle power plant phase ll as a sup contractor of Ac boiler to install heat recovery steam generator unit 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D with many responsabilaties like foundation hand over, pressure part casing installation and piping installation and also hydrostatic testing
Construction engineer at suez thermal power plant (1*650MW) as a sub contractor of initec energia (CP-118) assigned for piping fabrication and installation also hydrostatic testing for piping systems
• Piping installation and fabrication at site.
1. Supervise piping installations at site.
2. Mark Loops for Hydro test & Carry out/Supervise all relevant testing before commissioning and handing over.
3. Ensure the day-to-day activities on site, making sure the progress is being completed according to approved drawings and approved material submitted.
