Scope of Work - Design & Detail Engineering
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Instrument index by review the PID.
• Preparation of Instrument I/O List, overall & detailed ILDs, Schedules & Interconnection diagrams.
• Preparation of cable Schedules, Junction box details and Cable tray layout design.
• Preparation of Instrument specification sheet, Datasheet, Instrument installation schedule.
• Reviewing of Vendor Packages for Instrument Air Compressor, Plant Air Compressor and Instrument Air Dryer.
• Preparation of Process Hook-Ups and Pneumatic Hook-Ups, Material Take-off list (MTO).
• DCS & Instrument panel layout inside control room.
• Reviewing of Level Sketches with respect to KOC Standard.
• Vendor drawing review (NMR) & Coordination with other disciplines.
• Preparation of junction box details, Interconnection of JB/Marshaling/DCS.

Job Synopsis:
Good working experience in various phases of Projects like Basic Engineering, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), and Detailed Engineering including Project Co-ordination.
To implement and test a wide range of I/O in Hart & Foundation fieldbus communication via modbus, profibus etc., control function,
Interlocks, sequences, operator interface and other control components on DCS, PLC&ESD.
Experience in the Decoker units pipeline projects, water treatment in installation, Testing&Comissioning of controller and field instruments with distributed control system, emergency shut down valve plc, scada controller.
Performing FAT, SAT and prepare simulation, test scenario, test documentation..
Performing Loop check, Logic check, Cause and Effect check
Job Responsibilities:
Conversant with preparation, verification, identification, implementation of the technical queries in loop diagram, instrument index, I/O schedules, Material Take Off(MTO), Bill Of material(BOM), loop Folder Interconnection diagrams, marshaling cabinet & J.B.wiring diagram
P&ID’s, Hook up diagram for all DCS, FGS & ESD System.
HAZOP study, preparation of instrument specifications, control valve and flow meter Sizing.
Performing Serial/Mod bus communication test.
Configure main &redundant Profibus/Modbus communication between Remote Terminal Unit/Local Equipment Rooms and control room.
Calibration, installation Commissioning and trouble shooting for all type of field instruments such as transmitter (Rosemount, Yokogawa, Honeywell, ABB)
Performing Motor control loops, calibrating and adjusting the dosing pumps.
Calibrating and commissioning of temperature Proximity elements, vibration proximity elements in machine monitoring system.
Installation and commissioning of radar level transmitter.
Performance test for the compressor with the vendor.
Field engineering include preparation of instrument plot plan (points and lines), hook up diagram, field termination diagram, cable list, estimation of erection bill of material such cables, tubes and structural steel etc.
Instrument procurement activities such as interaction with vendors, technical evaluation of bids.
Familiar with various National & International Standards/codes such as ISA, IEC, NEMA, ANSI, NEC, NFPA used in Instrumentation & Control design, ARAMCO/DOW Standards.
Design calculation and selection of Control valves, flow meter and orifice plate.
Hands on exposure in System Hardware Configuration and programming of software related to AB PLC.
Installation, Testing and Pre-Commissiong SAT, FAT For Following Equipments:
Ethylene Emerson Metering Skid, Yokogawa Analyzer Shelter, Gas & oil station.
OMNI Flow computer .

The Work will involve liaising with design team, supplier, subcontractors.
