- Financial management including driving revenue, marketing, budgeting and effectively managing expenditure to achieve targeted P & L results, whilst maintaining and improving standards.
- Manage, Leadership, training and support of different teams in more than 10 sports and recreation facilities (Swimming pools, Tennis courts, Bowling center, SPA, Fitness centers, sports courts…).
- Human Resource Management and Employee Development tasks and initiatives for the team.
- Development of site specific Standards of Performance for all recreation and sports facilities.
- All Health & Safety related tasks, Adherence to fire policy and procedures, risk assessments, manual handling risk assessment and procedures.
- Maintenance of high level of standards and service in all areas of the operation.
- Development and monitoring of key performance objectives for Membership Sales and Retention
- Re-Opening of a private beach (Yam) in King Abdullah Economic City.
- Manage and provide leadership for all staff members and recreation / sports facilities in two hotels (Bay La Sun Hotel / Views Hotel).
- Design and implement recreational programs in specified facilities (Swimming pools, Fitness center, Bowling center, Tennis courts, SPA…).
- Interview, hire, train employees.
- Provide overall direction, coordination, evaluation and appraising performance, along with rewarding and disciplining employees.
- Develop advertising, marketing and promotional materials for recreation and sports facilities.
- Knowledge and ability to perform maintenance on fitness equipment, Swimming pool system, bowling machines...
- Ensure H&S procedures and SOPs are fully implemented and adhered to.
- Opening experience of Juman Park (Swimming pools, Tennis courts, Restaurant).
- Opening experience of the Views hotel and residences.
- Opening experience of an indoor Entertainment center (Bay La Sun Club).
- Manage and provide leadership for all staff members and recreation / sports facilities.
- Design and implement recreational programs in specified facilities (Swimming pools, Fitness center, Bowling center, Tennis courts, SPA…).
- Complete and maintain P&L and budgets for each facility and recreation program.
- Knowledge and ability to perform maintenance on fitness equipment, Swimming pool system, bowling machines...
- Oversee all daily financial operations regarding all facilities and programs.
- Member of the Committee in charge of the planning and organizing the sports events.
- Member of the Committee in charge of the yearly inspection and certification of the sports facilities.
- Member of the Committee in charge of approving the new private sports projects (Parks, fitness centers, Sports academies, Sports centers).
- Provide leadership to 6 team leaders, 35 staff members.
- Provide full responsibility for all day-to-day operations for all the recreation facilities: beach, swimming pools, entertainment center, kids club, fitness center).
- Creation and execution of recreation and sports activities for adults and Kids.
- Respond appropriately to guest inquiries to ensure total guest satisfaction.
