 Prepare/ present various status reports for the senior management team and other stakeholders to enable effective decision-making

a) Coordinates and ensures equipment availability of Quay Cranes, Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes, mobile equipment i.e. Reach Stacker and Empty Handlers, also Power Stations and mechanical facilities of the terminal.
b) Prepares and manages the annual budget for the section to be reviewed and approved by the Engineering Maintenance Head.
c) Oversees and ensures that operational requirements for power stations and container handling equipment are met.
d) Coordinates with the Supervisors the daily task schedules and maintenance work.
e) Ensures that the daily equipment status is updated for reference of the Operations Department.
f) Ensure that manpower is properly trained and programmed according to work scope and demand.
g) Raises formal requisition for spare parts needed by the Quay Cranes, Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes, mobile equipment i.e. Reach Stacker and Empty Handlers, Power Stations and various mechanical facilities of the terminal.
h) Manages the budget, monitoring expenditures and preparing explanations for the Monthly Budget Variance Report.
i) Reviews Weekly Performance Reports with the Engineering Management.
j) Evaluates the subordinates performance based on skills matrix and identify training requirements.
k) Implements the Company Policies, standard procedures, and Engineering Business Processes. Coordinates with all other departments within the company.
l) Ensures that the Company Policy and subsequent policies are strictly implemented at all times.
m) Submits regular periodic maintenance reports and monthly equipment performance reports on time.
n) Responsible for the well-being and motivation of all members of the Section.
