Responsible for:  Ensure that all the branch banking transactions are processed accurately as per the set standard operating procedures.  Ensure transactions processing are done in a timely manner to ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to internal and external customers.  Ensures cash shortages and excesses at counter are eliminated and timely reporting/investigation of cash differences if any.  Ensures that all the required controls are followed and implemented as required.  Coordinate with all the related stake-holders to ensure transactions processing - (Retail Operations / Central Operations.....etc).  Ensures the accuracy of transactions so that accounts are reconciled and financial losses to the bank are avoided.  Provides continuous feedback to branch operations on process adherence and any observed inconsistency at the counter through branch monthly exception reporting mechanism for his respective areas.  Escalates the unsolved customer complaints to the branch head or deputy branch head & the Zone Operations & Service Head for necessary action  Be vigilant & alert on any possible frauds & risks at the counter area.  Direct customers to use the alternative channels if possible.  Ensures providing superior service and solving customers’ problems
