In Media Tree Our vision was to setup a total media and advertising
solutions to clients with results-oriented advertising, public relations and
market research. My work included overall management of the Marketing
and Business Development Activities as well as overseeing the following:
* Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and
forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
* Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy
to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
* Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key
strategic partners.
* Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals
accordingly.
* Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales
distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
* Directs product research and development.
* Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to
present standards and industry and economic trends.
* Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action
to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within
designated budgets.
Manage the entire research program to ensure it meets the company’s
business objectives.
* Collecting data on clients, competitors and market place and consolidating
information into actionable items, reports and presentations
* Analysis and author business reports with actionable recommendations
for the marketing department.
* Support and facilitate development and implementation of business and
marketing strategic and tactical plans.
* Assisting in planning the marketing and operation budget for the
company.
* Analysing and interpreting data to identify patterns and solutions,
including surveys and focus group transcripts;
* formulating a plan or proposal and presenting it to the client or senior
management;
* Making presentations—answering questions and instilling confidence
I was responsible for the following:
* Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for the firm.
* Support and facilitate development and implementation of section
business/marketing plans.
* Plan and administer the firm’s Marketing Operations budget.
* Organize and implement client relations including Client satisfaction
surveys, Client development activities and Special events.
* Delivery of Sales and Marketing presentations
* Develop and administer marketing database which includes client and
prospect information, mailing list applications, access to financial reports
* Reviews and analyses sales performances against programs,
quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
