Manage and provide technical directions and guidelines to the project’s team & consultants ensuring the selection of most efficient systems in accordance with the international codes and standards as well as implementation of latest technology.
• Prepare Employer Requirement (ER) and Technical Terms of Reference (TOR) that is required for the project in accordance with codes and standards.
• Manage and monitor all construction and O&M activities to ensure successful completion of the projects, and operation thereafter, within the set technical guide lines.
JOB OBJECTIVES
• Manage and supervise the project’s consultants on technical and financial issues during the design phase. To review and approve the final design package prior to issuing it for tendering.
• Provide directions to designers and to ensure resolution of technical issues during construction and operation phases.
• Determine appropriate codes, regulations and requirements for project specifications.
• Implement controls over variables affecting construction progress to ensure engineering, procurement and operation teams are providing timely delivery of accurate drawings, correct materials and efficient equipment within the project execution program.
• Manage and supervise the project’s contractor on all erection aspects during the construction period and manage all work on site as per PEP program.
• Manage the technical meetings with clients, third party agencies and contractor’s engineers.
• Review and approve the equipment selection in coordination with the project consultant to ensure the best operating performance.
• Identify any works and technical upgrades, which may have not been covered in the contracts, to enhance the project deliverables, customer satisfaction and improve company’s revenue.
• Manage the project cost estimation, preparation of cost reports forecast and progress reports.
• Determine the optimum technical design parameters in order to ensure that the Plants are running in their optimum mode.
During that period responsible for the following project:
• Saadiyat Island District Cooling Plants
DC Plants with total capacity of 80, 000 ton ref along with 3 infrastructure networks
-Coordinate and provide technical directions and guidelines to the project’s consultants ensuring the selection of most efficient systems in accordance with the international codes and standards as well as implementation of latest technology.
- Manage and monitor all construction and O&M activities to ensure successful completion of the projects, and operation thereafter, within the set technical guide lines.
Resposible for all of BOT projects related to District Cooling Plants.
- identify the recommended BOT projects to the clients.
-Review the technical and financial documents.
- Feasabilty Study for the recommended projects.
- Financial models for the projects.
- Coordination between the clients and the consultants.
-Preapare DEVCO contract.
-Prepare DEVCO budget.
-Select Advisors ( Legal, Financial, Tehnical, ....)
- Influence Project Agreement.
-Customer Relations, and communications.
