Constructing new wastewater lift stations and connection to WWTP within the scope of Fayoum Wastewater Expansion Program (FWWEP), funded by European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Projects involves construction of 11 pumping stations, sewerage and forced main networks to connect the served villages to WWTP, under supervision of STANTEC - SUEZ - EGEC - ERCC Consortium (Consultant). The FIDIC applied contract includes engineering, supply and installations of all MEP equipment and control systems.

Position background:

• The Key responsibility is commitment to ensure timely completion of project within approved budget and resources, without compromising on Quality & Safety
• Coordinate and collaborate with the PM Director to lead the planning and execution of MEP and Infrastructure works on all project's sites.
• Enhancing and supporting the MEP construction function by leading engineers and team members, monitoring the scope of work, progress and contractors performance to ensure budget, quality and on-time delivery.
• Managing the implementation of mechanical & electrical engineering design and development plans by providing expertise during engineering and construction phases to ensure that the deliverables / works executed by the sub-consultant / sub-contractors are as contracted in terms of safety, quality, standards, materials, schedule and cost.
• Managing the projects teams by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, providing constructive feedback in line with the PM plans, policies and procedures.

Core duties and responsibilities:

• Attending regular meetings on work progress, coordination, design, etc. with Employer's Team leader engineer and Consultant to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions.
• Coordinating with the design engineering team on all aspects of the construction design.
• Create periodic reports for management including status of progress, variance/change claims, schedules, up-coming activities.
• Ensuring all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with general and particular contract conditions, specifications, contract drawings & BOQ.
• Ensuring EHS requirements are followed and in compliance with OSHA regulations. Provides guidance, managerial, technical support to project teams.
• Analyzing drawings, specifications and statements of work in the preparation of activity networks for project resource planning and implementation.

Working on one of Egypt's top prestigious projects, EMMAR's MIVIDA compound. Position background:

• Assemble and lead multiple projects teams, and establish effective organizational structure and working procedures for the teams. I'm assigned in charge of managing and monitoring the different stages of the projects through execution until completion and handing over.

• This role also calls for an in-depth understanding of project's contract & specifications, legislation, local/international codes and it demands to carry out consultations, analysis and assessments. Furthermore, ensuring effective delegation and follow up of responsibility and authority within the teams to fulfil desirable results and quality.

• Diversity of project types, commercial, retail, entertainment area and lakes, apartment buildings, villas and twin houses, and infrastructure, requested hands-on experience and in depth understanding to multiple industry trades.

• In association with the Project Managers, developing the required strategies to support the effective different projects delivery. Understanding, coordinating and clarification for all project aspects and its associated relationships.

Core duties and responsibilities:
• Employer's contract construction administration: Preparation for contract start and project implementation, extracting schedules to achieve contractual obligations and milestones. Follow up on the implementation of contractual requirements towards the client / other parties completing the correspondences and documents of the main contract.

• Sub-contractors and suppliers management: Obtaining Client's consent and consultant's approvals for specialist subcontractors and equipment suppliers. Reviewing and approving prepared subcontractors tender and bidding documents, setting the main terms and conditions of the subcontractors' contract, and support in selection and contracting with assigned subcontractors / suppliers in cooperation with procurement department.

• Procurement and purchasing collaboration: Preparing detailed lists of project needs, equipment and project requirements to achieve contractual obligations and meet approved procurement scheduled delivery dates.
Reviewing, submitting and acquiring consultant's approval for materials and equipment. Assessing compliance of factory or supplier with scheduled delivery dates, making sure to meet the quality standards of the supplies/manufactured materials, compliance with project's specifications, and the conformity of the production with the supply dates.

Achievements:
• The LAKE DISTRICT project completion and handing over along with the Lagoon and Fountain with Spain's Fluidra Engineering World's leader and water facilities specialist.
• Avenues Parcel 1A & 13 villas projects completion and handing over along with the ornamental lakes, landscape and infrastructure services.
• Apartment Buildings Parcel 43A project completion.

- Collaboratively coordinating design drawings in accordance with codes and regulations relevant to the project, while adhering to contracted specifications and obligations. This includes preparing reports on issues and conflicts, as well as creating techniques and method statements for resolution.
- Adjusting structural and architectural drawings to incorporate MEP considerations, presenting engineering changes and modifications that align with the project's specific details and requirements.

• Katamya clinics hospital: Execution and coordination of all MEP systems.
