Operation and maintenance of following :
• Three gas turbines 50MW SGT-800 Siemens.
• 66KV Siemens Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
• Power Transformers (Siemens /Schneider).
• MV & LV Switchgears. (Schneider).
• UPS & BCH. (Borri).
Electrical engineer at Egyptian styrene and polystyrene production company (400, 000, 000 $ Project) Petrochemical Plant
Years of experience gained from Attending, monitoring and supervising construction, pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start Up and maintenance phases of Egyptian styrene and polystyrene production plant.
Work duties:
• One of the supervision team who is responsible for the electrical works.
• Review and Comment on Feed Package with the ABB Lummus (Licensor), the Detail Engineer Package with Enppi and Specifications on MRQ’s, MRP's & Offers from Vendors.
•Arranging the planning and scheduling of work.
•Revising the EPC contract.
•Review and check all assigned project electrical installation drawings for compliance with all company and project instructions (One-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.) of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements.
•Participate on the Engineering of the electrical items installation.
•In charge of the construction of the all Electrical installation works.
•In charge of the supervision the following activities:
Electrical installation which consist of:
Cable Trays installation.
MV and LV cables installation on trays or underground.
MV & LV motors installation (ABB, Siemens, NIKKISO... etc.).
MV & LV switchgear (Schneider).
Motor drives and softs starrers (ABB).
Uninterrupted power supply system UPS (Convel Italy).
Grounding system installation.
Protective lightning system installation.
Building electrical works installation (Lighting, sockets, panels …etc.).
Industrial lighting system of the plant.
Issuing and clearing electrical punch items (Punch Items Team Leader).
Pre-commissioning activities for electrical items and packages.
Monitoring and supervising for tests for all electrical items.
Commissioning and start up.
• Participate in preparing Gas Generation Plant Tender (TAQA Global Energy Co.) with B.O.O. system.
•Electrical material inspection before installation.
•Preparing, specifying, reviewing and evaluating tenders and offers for electrical spare parts, instrument tests, tools and consumables.
•Participate in preparing maintenance work instruction (MWI) for all electrical items.
•Subcontractors and vendors monitoring.
•Monitoring maintenance activities performed by Egyptian Projects Operation and Maintenance (EPROM).
•Review the Monthly Reports supported with all the details showing the progress achieved and the progress forecasted.
•Energy saving team leader.
•Instructor to Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport students (foreign) and Alexandria university students. (In site training).
•Participate in the 300, 000 MTA EB/SM Plant Early work Package with TECHNIP (Italy) and Enppi (Egypt) for the new Styrene project.
•Nominated to close 300, 000 MTA EB/SM Plant Early work electrical outstanding in Rome with TECHNIP (Italy) from 6th to 19th April 2014.
