* Responsible for the adequate resourcing of DGE Technical Departments with capable
and competent candidates in line with Business and future Growth plans.
* Ensures the sustainability of the business through the development of future
technical leaders.
* Provides Technical expert support and Coordinates technical E&P and engineering
teams in business units, assuring that necessary skilled staff are available and assigned
to projects where needed.
* Resourcing Strategies: Supports with the developing of Exploration and Exploitation
strategies to optimize the use of resources, balancing the needs, budgets and resources
of all DGE Technical departments and DG business units. Facilitates discussion between
business units to improve overall performance across the Group.
* Technical Expertise Support: Provides material input to BD teams on resources for
mapping, evaluation and plans for effective exploration & development. Participates in
effective peer reviews and gate reviews. Provides technical competency viewpoint to
SWOT assessments.
* Competency Process: Develop and maintain Competency frameworks for all
technical disciplines and provide regular Individual assessment for technical staff.
* Progression: Develop and maintain multi-year career progression plans for future
technical and managerial leaders including internal and external succession planning.
* Training & Development: Custodian and champion of technical staff training
programs and evergreen IDP process. Assists line managers and HR training specialists
in planning and executing training and development activities for all technical staff.
* Career & Succession Planning: Plans career progression for technical staff and
maintains current lists of high potential employees. Provides career guidance to
technical staff that are aligned with DGE succession plans
* HR Processes: Support the Line and HR with the hiring, releasing and performance
appraisal processes for Technical staff. Ensures technical resource needs are accurately
assessed, budgeted and resourced
* Networking: Assists DGE management in meetings with regulatory and government
authorities. Discusses training and competency development of staff.
* Reports: Submits periodic reports on individual, team, department and company
competency and skills profiles. Provides input to management on team formation,
assuring correct skill levels and competencies are available to support department
activities.
* Promote the acquisition of new exploration licenses through New Ventures activity and
contribute to the preparation of bidding rounds, aimed at increasing the value of
company’s assets by adding valuable exploration acreage.
* Prepare the investment proposals for every exploration project according to the
Company procedures
* Plan and coordinate the execution of the exploration projects in order to identify
predictive and commercially interesting prospects, respecting time-schedule and
optimizing costs and performing appropriate technical and economic evaluations.
* Prepare reports for the management with recommendations for both technical and
economical viability.
* Prepare the yearly and Long Term exploration work program and budget, ensuring that
the exploration activity is properly planned and financed.
* Ensure the preparation of scope of work and technical specification for exploration
services and provide technical advice for the bids, in order to ensure that the choice
of contractors fully meet with technical and budget targets.
* Participate to Technical and Operational Committees of both operated and non-operated
joint ventures, during the exploration and pre-development stages, orienting technical
and economical decisions according to objectives and strategies of the company.
* Ensure, in collaboration with the Head Quarters, the management of technical data
within the Company DB policy. Ensure the link between exploration technological
needs and R&D activities
* Ensure the technical training and professional development of the personnel of the
department.
* Manage, in collaboration with HR Department, the department recruitment in
accordance to the approved organization chart.
* Demonstrate strong, visible leadership, commitment and personal involvement in all
aspects of HSE
* Provide leadership, strategic planning and oversight, direction, communication and
implement HSE expectations, standards and commission the HSE Plan
* Assign individual HSE responsibilities, identify HSE critical activities and assign HSE
critical tasks through job descriptions and review performance of HSE activities in all
job appraisals
* Ensure compliance with risk tolerability and acceptance criteria
* Ensure that HSE IMS activities are conducted, including HSE Induction, Risk
Assessments, Audits and Inspections, Audit Program and Plan, Project HSE
Management, PTW, Crisis Management; and that actions arising from the HSE IMS

provide training for HSE IMS activities, including all those activities listed in the

Created study to define the top and base of the various reservoir facies in each well and
calculating the reservoir parameters (Gross thickness, N/G, porosity, Sw, Perm, and Pay
