Project: Seif Stores Grand Opening Event
Project Brief: Conceptualized & executed the opening of Seif Stores in The District Mall with a budget of LE 20, 000, in April 2015. The activity was conducted for an entire day.
Key Features:
• This was a major event at the District Mall that garnered huge publicity; booked the entire space in the mall along with the parking & the theatre so that the event could be conducted on a huge scale.
• Negotiated a deal with the mall’s management that led to no charges being levied to the company for conducting the event (the mall benefitted as the event would generate a huge customer influx to the mall)
• Made efficient utilization of the available space by providing sections to the partners for free where they could set up their booths; thus increased business partners’ loyalty
• Chalked out & implemented a comprehensive promotion campaign to attract footfalls at the event; the campaign comprised magic show, characters like Spiderman, Frozen, animation band, a large bus with the Sief Stores logo displayed on it, light show, fireworks, funny photo shooting, Pickme photos, DJ light show etc
• To increase customer traffic, organized a best picture contest with the top prize being an iPhone, & advertised this contest on Facebook to ensure wide coverage. The company’s Faceook page garnered 5, 000 likes before & after the event
• Designed & displayed Google Ads to publicize the grand opening & also initiated an online newspaper campaign (Youm7, Elwattan) with a budget of LE 10, 000
