Working as Oracle/SQL Database Administrator, where I am responsible for mission critical production environments:
- Support Oracle 11gR2 GI (11.2.0.4) and 11gR2 RDBMS on RHEL 6.6 (Installation & Configuration & Patching & Troubleshooting).
- Support Microsoft SQL Server 2014 on Microsoft Windows Server 2012.
- Maintain Oracle 11gR2 RAC-to-Single Data Guard.
- Conduct planned switchover from primary site to DR site as part of regular datacentre swap.
- RMAN for Backup and Recovery.
- Maintain PCI-DSS Compliance for the databases (TDE / Backup Ecryption / Critical Patches)
- Plan, lead and implement a project to convert the production database from single instance to RAC with minimal downtime. That includes installing Oracle 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure (11.2.0.4) and Oracle 11gR2 RAC RDBMS (11.2.0.3) on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6.
- Plan, lead and implement SQL Server 2014 AlwaysOn Availability Group.
Worked as Senior Database Administrator, where I was responsible for:
- Build, configure, and monitor all mission critical Oracle databases of the bank.
- Plan, design and build production systems for the new data centre of the bank.
- Install Oracle Grid Infrastructure 11gR2 (11.2.0.3) and Oracle 11gR2 RAC RDBMS on Oracle Solaris SPARC (5.10 and 5.11) and AIX Power Systems.
- Install Oracle Cloud Control 12c (12.1.0.3) on Oracle Solaris x-86_64 and deploy Oracle Management Agents on AIX Power Systems, Oracle Solaris SPARC, and Microsoft Windows x-86_64.
- Configure 11gR2 (11.2.0.3) RAC-to-RAC Data Guard environments for all bank’s mission critical production systems (maximum performance mode).
- Responsible for all bank’s mission critical production systems such as \{Flexcube UBS core banking, Murex (for treasury system), Cortex for Switch and ATM, FFCM for Anti Money Laundering\} on Oracle RDBMS.
Worked as Senior Oracle DBA Consultant, working for internal EJADA projects as well as customers, where I was responsible for:
- Leads a team of implementation specialists of Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control.
- Installing Oracle Grid Infrastructure 11gR2 on various platforms (Solaris - AIX - Linux - Windows).
- Installing Oracle RAC 10g/11gR1 on various platforms (Solaris - AIX - Linux - Windows).
- Installing Oracle Database 9i/10g/11gR1/11gR2 on various platforms (Solaris - AIX - Linux - Windows).
- Build, implement, and maintain Oracle Data Guard solution for Oracle 11gR2 database at one of customers (a leading bank in KSA).
- Upgrading/Migrating databases across different versions and platforms.
- Resolving complex performance issues in customers’ production environments.
- Maintaining backup/recovery strategies for customers.
- Supporting all running projects which require DBA intervention.

- Technology Solutions and Services is a subsidiary of Advanced Computer Technology (EJADA) Company.
- Worked with Oracle Forms & Reports 6i and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Visited Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (under cooperation with ACT/EJADA) and worked in Al-Rajhi Bank from April 2002 till September 2002.
- Visited United Arab Emirates (under cooperation with ACT/EJADA) and worked in Arab Bank as Data Warehouse Project DBA from September 2002 till December 2002.
- Outsourced to Al-Rajhi Bank from January 2003 till May 2003 then settled in Riyadh Office under sponsorship of Advanced Computer Technology (EJADA) Company.
