Sonker Company (Employer) construct and operate a world-scale petrochemicals and
liquefied gas terminal in the harbor area of Ain-Sokhna, Egypt. This terminal will also serve
as the main supply to the Egyptian network for Gasoil & LPG (Butane & Propane).
Attend constructions, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up for:
- MLA (FLEXA-Loading arms Gas oil & LPG)
- Gasoil tanks (Capacity 100, 000 M3)
- LPG tanks (Capacity 150, 000 M3)
- Boil-off gas reliquification system (REI-Technology)
- Utility packages include the following:
N2 storage with distributions, Air compressors, Chlorination, potable water, LEVA odorizing and
sewage packages.
Coordinate and lead new projects in terms of engineering; taking responsibility for all the works
required for the completion of the projects in accordance with the budget, without sacrificing quality
and in accordance with the work schedule, ensuring the necessary coordination with other
engineering disciplines, employer and project management
Prepare reports on the implementation processes of the projects and submitting them to the Project
Management.
Inform the manager about the progress of the work carried out by process design
engineers/contactors assigned for specific tasks and the fulfillment of the responsibilities of process
design engineers.
Prepare the basic process documents and/or checking the relevant documents produced by the
Process Design Engineer (H&MB, PFD, P&ID, Equipment and Instrument Specifications, Control
Philosophy, C&E Diagram, Process Specification of Package Units) and submitting to the Process
Design Manager.
Responsible for licensor, FEED contractor, PMC works coordination and works executed on behalf
of the employer during FEED process.
Attend 3D Model Review and HAZOP meetings.
Complete capacity building and bottleneck removal works of the facilities.
Prepare the operating manual or presenting the operating manual prepared by the process design
engineer to the manager after checking,
Prepare and review SOP&EOP for all package’s units and equipment’s.
Work in accordance with the procedures and regulations specified in the company quality system.
Support the bid works in the company.
Work in accordance with the work schedule, informing the department manager on issues that will
interfere with the work schedule.
Inform the department manager on the defects in project operations, lack of information and
production performance.
Attend employer’s, consultant firm (work shop), punch list meetings and construction site meetings
when participation is requested.
Ensure the regular functioning of department/company archive.
Complying with all management systems policies, procedures and instructions implemented within
the company.
Build up competency assurance management system for all operations team and development
plans for all team
