I worked as a reservoir engineer in BP Egypt for four years, two of them in the East Nile Delta OBO (operated by others) team where I was responsible for managing gas fields’ reservoirs, reviewing and reporting resources and reserves, and evaluating and progressing wellwork and new opportunities. I spent two years before that in Gupco (Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company) where I had operations experience in Ras Shukeir base, evaluated LoSal (low salinity water flood) deployment in the gulf of Suez, and evaluated wellwork opportunities in the gulf of Suez fields.
I used to work as a reservoir engineer for NALPETCO, a joint venture of Hess, in their west Mediterranean development, that involved follow up of appraisal and exploration wells drilled including RFT plotting, PVT and SCAL analysis, field development planning of one of the fields, and economic evaluation of different development scenarios.
