Title: Chemist
I work as a Chemist in the Project of Attaka Gas station in Chemistry and Environmental Department my duties are:
• Follow up the chemistry and environmental section constructions during the period of the project.
• Reporting technical comments for the systems constructed by the vendor.
• Follow up the demi water system and closed cooling system
• Follow up the Light fuel oil treatment system
• Follow the chemical specification of water quality for demi water and closed cooling water system.
• Follow up the chemical injection in water closed cooling system
• Follow up the environmental section
• Measuring Environmental factors such as Noise intensity and stack emissions
Follow up and performing analysis for chemical specifications and environmental analysis of the inlet and outlet sea water samples.
• Follow up the ppm activates and chemical specifications of water and steam cycle in the online analyzers and performing chemical analysis for water and steam cycle.
• Follow up and performing analysis for chemical specifications of the closed cooling system.
• Follow up and performing analysis for chemical specifications of hydraulic oil.
• Calibration and maintenance of online analyzer “PH, conductivity meter, silica analyzer, chloride analyzer, hydrazine analyzer, oxygen sensor and sodium analyzer”.
• Operation and regeneration of Demineralized water plant.
• Operate the sea water desalination plant “MED”.
• Operation and acid cleaning for sodium hypochlorite production system.
• Follow the dosing systems for water and steam cycle, closed cooling system and desalination plant.
• Adjust water quality of boiler water cycle and monitor chemicals injection along the cycle.
• Waste water treatment system operation and controlling of outlet rejected water to sea.
• Monitoring of sewage treatment unit and controlling water quality.
• Startup and shutdown of water treatment plant
• Startup and shutdown of sod. Hypo chlorite generation units and controlling its chock and continuous injection.
• Operation and regeneration of polisher units for condensates.
• Chemical analysis of all samples in lab. And taking corrective action.
• R.O unit operation
Check the quality for the main product in the factory.
Physical and chemical tests on frit product.
Check the chemical properties of the row materials.
Bachelor's degree in science (Chemistry section)
