Designation: Infrastructure Project Leader (Reporting to Project Manager)
Project 1: Acquisition in Colombo - Srilanka( Project start Date: August 1st 2013 to Mar 31st 2014) - 70000 K USD Project
• End-to-End Project Management starting from project planning till closure.
• Project Initiation (Initiate kick off meeting, identify stakeholders & procurement).
• Resource Management (Resource allocation & managing resources of project team)
• Planning (Developing project plan while taking TSD as scope document with timelines & risks)
• Execution (Manage project delivery & execute project plan as per the schedule)
• Control (Periodic review with Functional, Account & Business Process Owners on projects & monitoring its progress accordingly)
• Change Management (Plan/Schedule a change, working on approvals, attending CCRB meeting & making sure it’s implemented accordingly)
• Communication Management (Ensure clear communications, periodic project status reports, scheduling meetings, sharing minutes, stakeholder management & other project communication documents)
• Project Closure (Preparing Completion Acceptance Report \{CAR\}, taking Business approvals & closing the same)
Project 2: Bangalore Site Relocation (Project start Date: Oct 2013 to Dec 2014) - 2 Million USD Project.
• End-to-End Project Management starting from project planning till closure.
• Project Initiation (Initiate kick off meeting, identify stakeholders & procurement).
• Resource Management (Resource allocation & managing resources of project team)
• Planning (Developing project plan while taking TSD as scope document with timelines & risks)
• Responsible for weekly Technical meeting with Stakeholders and Team managers on the Delivery
• Execution (Manage project delivery & execute project plan as per the schedule)
• Control (Periodic review with Functional, Account & Business Process Owners on projects & monitoring its progress accordingly)
• Change Management (Plan/Schedule a change, working on approvals, attending CCRB meeting & making sure it’s implemented accordingly)

Project 3: TMG Replacement (Project start Date: Jan 2014 to Dec 2014)
• Replacing the TMG infrastructure with Websense product, this is a Global Project.
• Working as a project manager which is initiation stage.
Project 4: IBM Tivoli (SCCM Replacement) (Project start Date: Feb 2014 to Dec 2014)
• Working as a Project Manager for replacing the SCCM with IBM Tivoli, this is still in the initiation stage
Project 5: Webex Lifecycle Management and License Charge Back Model
Project 6: Office Expansion to new floor in existing building
Responsibilities: Worked as Sr. Analyst Infrastructure Management, reporting directly to Sr. IT Manager.
• Worked as a project in charge for setting up Datacenter for 2000 users, Responsible for Network Design, Configuration, and Implementation
• Responsible for setting up servers in Data Center, Wireless Setup, Firewall, Network Devices
• Responsible for implementation and designing the internet links and MPLS links
• Responsible for making the internal firewall changes
• Managing the Wireless controller in the APAC region and making the changes as per the change request.
• Responsible for setting up new Floor in new tower(250 Users)
• Responsible for setting up and designing a secure network for 200 users for PHI Network
• Ability to provide analytical, technical, and administrative support in planning, designing,
And implementation of information technology hardware, software, and network components.

Independently resolve problems and pro-actively communicate solutions.
• Responsible for Vendor relationship management across server & network infrastructure, Manage all IT vendor & outsourcing relationships in line with global policy, including contract / cost negotiation and Service Level Management.
• Management of mobile & fixed line telecoms including company-wide upgrades; Management of all Helpdesk activities and Service improvement efforts.
• Act as escalation on major issues in conjunction with the IT Coordinator & Business Process Owners.
• Provide business & financial justification for system upgrades and enhancements.
• Ability to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation.
• Responsible for IT Procurement and work on IT software request
• Responsible for taking weekly induction program from IT side
• Involved in monthly IT infrastructure review meeting with Managers, try to analyze the
Requests & issues, and fix them
• Responsible for Internal Audit from the IT side
• Responsible for taking interviews for Technical Engineers(L2 and Lead Engineer’s) for Global Service Desk
• Knowledge of systems management software, remote control, patch management,
Software distribution and computer operating systems
• Knowledge of Information Technology diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of network environments and concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS

• L1 and L2 Support for all Core devices located at client side in Newzealand, more than 7000
Devices are managed across NZ.
• Troubleshooting and break fixing for network and security related issue. Also provide support customer queries and solutions for improvement of the network and the migration path.
• Configuration and troubleshooting with routing protocols like RIP, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP
• Knowledge to achieve client SLA.
• Responsible for Network Implementation and Support for Internal and External Customers
• Providing remote support for Dimension data group’s international clients in Newzealand region for network management and troubleshooting.
• Excellent understanding in implementation, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN networks, including Layer 2 technologies like ISDN BRI/PRI, Frame Relay, MPLS, Ethernet/802.3 and Layer 3 technologies TCP/IP various routing protocols OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP and RIP, Technologies Including ISDN PRI, Chanalized E1/T1, IPSec, VPNs.
• Exposure to Cisco 3600, 2500, 1841, 1700 series routers. Cisco Switch 4500, 3550, 3945, 2948G and 2912 series, knowledge on Nexus Swiches
• Implementation of VPN using IPSEC and other encapsulation techniques.
• Have knowledge on Firewall, ASA.
• Have knowledge on Riverbed and steelhead Appliance
• Have worked on Wireless Network Controller 2100 & LAP Access Points
• Exposure to Voice Gateways, CCM 7.0, CCM 8.0 Voice Mail servers, knowledge on protocols like
H.323, SIP, MGCP.
Have Knowledge on Cisco routers/switches for VoIP - including quality of service (QOS)
• Worked on Tools such as Siebel, Clarify for Ticket Logging, Concord for reporting
Experience in managing the devices through Netcool Omnibus and web based SNMP servers, & ITSM
• Currently working on ITSM, SMARTS & APG
Nature of Work- Technical Support Engineer
• Troubleshooting AOL software and ISP related problems
• Responsible for troubleshoot DSL and Modem Issues
• Coordinating with ISP’s for installations of new AOL software and troubleshooting of faulty links.
• Proficient in handling escalated calls and providing 1st & 2nd Level Technical Support to end-users.
• During the tenure, Service Levels were excellent and Quality scores maintained at 100% consistently.
• Worked on Tools such as Merlin, Sherlock for troubleshooting
