Responsible for Corporate Network & Information Security Design, Enhancement and Operations.
Implementing, Installing, Administering & Monitoring all Network / Security Devices including \[McAfee Email Gateway, McAfee Firewall Enterprise, McAfee EPO, McAfee Network Security, McAfee Web Gateway/Smart Filter\]
Investigate potential or actual security violations or incidents in an effort to identify issues and areas that require new security measures or policy changes
Coordinate with third parties to perform vulnerability tests and create security authorization agreements and standards
Involved in strategic IT Projects such as BCP and Disaster Recovery Site.
Involved in IT Network & Security Operations.
• Network Design, Management, Implementation, Operation and Security.
• Install, configure, upgrade, administer, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, enhance and optimize performance and functionalities for the network infrastructure.
• Implement, install and configure Infrastructure for new offices and regional branches.
• Implementing WAN Optimization using Riverbed Steelhead Appliances.
• Implementing Wireless LAN using Aruba Controller.
• Build and maintain Network documentation using Visio.
• Building/Migrating new Data-Center.
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution of Network Problems.
• Install, support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices, including routers, switches, firewalls and wificontrollers.
• Implement, install & administer Security tools in LGCC sites such as (Websense 7.3, Kaspersky, IPS, RSA Envasion, IRONmail, Mcafee Epolicy Orchestrator, DLP & RSA Identity Server).
• Oversee IT requests, incidents and problems. Manages and coordinate urgent and complicated support issues for Level 1 Support. Act as escalation Point for requests and incidents offering a Technical Support needed. Determine root cause of issues and communicate appropriately with internal & external parties.
• Train, Coach and mentor Level 1 service desk team, Scheduling provide backup support and after hour support.
• Manage process for communicating changes, outage/emergency and maintenance time window to the organization involving all concerned teams.
• Purchase orders review and approvals/budgeting. Manage third party suppliers and introducing new suppliers.
• SUPPLIERS - Build strong and effective relationship with external vendors “DFM, ADX, Etisalat, DU, MSM, OmanTel, IT partners & Nawras”.
• CUSTOMER - Creates a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders inside the organization, including Business heads, IT Corporate Team, as well as all Business and IT colleagues.
• Duties include LAN/WAN daily operations: (Switches, Routers, WAN Opt Appliances and Firewalls) Configuration / Access Lists.
• LAN/WAN monitoring using PRTG, Net flow and Firewall analyzer
• Update and Change Network Configuration depending on corporate requirements.
• Administer, backup and maintaining Cisco Devices Configurations & IOS upgrade.
• Implementing Site-to-Site VPN (PIX-To-PIX) & Remote Access VPNs.
• Implement Network high availability by HSRP, Failover mechanism & VSS.
• Optimizing network bandwidth by using load balancing and traffic-shaping when needed.
• Users Technical Support ( Provide day-to-day support of 150+PC, providing high quality user support to internal users including identification, resolution, escalation, and follow-up on desktop, network and applications issues. This includes Network services (OS and Hardware), applications, viruses, PC configuration, Windows XP/sp3.
• Administering and managing DHCP, DNS, MS Exchange & AD Configuration/Operations.
• Administer Avaya IP-Telephony System using Avaya Site Administration Integrated with Witness Recording System & Avaya AES.
• Branches Technical Support : Supporting remote branches 288+ branch most of them connected via ISDN modems (using SMS and Terminal Services Technologies RDP)
• Daily IT operations: Account creation, Email Creation and account locked out tools.
• Troubleshooting and solving problem caused by ISDN Service Provider.
• Consolidate all branches connectivity using Cisco VPN Concentrator 3000.
• Implementing VOIP using Cisco Call Server 4.0.
• Coordinate / Dealing with outsourcing companies
