Project 1 : LRT Subway underground (Railway) stations, Qatar

Scope & Achievements:
The project scope is complete package of MEP supply and installation of 4 underground Railway stations and 8km of tunnel. I was working as a site engineer for Marina 01 & Marina 02 stations and 8km of tunnel for complete mechanical installation, pre commissioning, Testing & commissioning (Air conditioning & ventilation, plumping & drainage and Fire fighting). Around 30Km of pipes (CHW, PDS & FF), 10Km of Fire rated ducts & GI ducts, 4 no of Heat Exchangers, 26 no of Air Handling Units, 120 no of Fan Coil Units, 40 no of Pumps, 74 units of FM200 system, 210 no of hydrants and 60 no of axial fans were installed and pre commissioned under my execution.
Experienced with:
Technical submittals and shop drawing coordination
MAF, WMS, ITR, MIR, NCR, ITP & Risk Assessments
Installation of AHUs, FCUs, Heat exchangers, Fire pumps, chill water pumps, dewatering & cold water supply pumps and exhaust fans
Installation of Ducting, CHW pipes, fire fighting, Cold water supply, plumping & drainage system
Installation of CHW plant room, fire pump room & dewatering pump room
Pressure testing & Flushing of CHW system and fire fighting system
Air leakage test for ducts
Pressure test and puff test of FM 200 system
Pre commissioning of fire Pumps, chill water pumps, submersible pumps, AHUs, FCUs
TIG welding & Arc welding of CHW piping system
Fire Proofing system
Quality Assurance & Quality control
Responsibilities:
Receive and review shop Drawings, specification, Materials Submittals and Bill of Quantities related to Mechanical works
Manage and supervise around 250 project team members (Supervisors, foreman & Labours). and Ensure that all HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage, Fire Fighting Installations & Site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specification and work plan
Drive the project on schedule
Following the Standards such as NFPA, ASHREA, QCS & SMACNA in Technical Works.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Quality Assurance & Quality Control.
Coordination & Technical support for site execution.
Material take offs, material & Manpower utilization.
Attend the ICE inspections
Preparing the daily report and weekly report.
Attending the site coordination meetings & progress meeting with client.
Conduct the Task launch meeting.
Site safety implementation.
Technical Submittals & shop drawing coordination.
Project 2 : Coca cola bottling plant, Qatar
Position : Fire fighting Engineer

Scope & Achievements:
The scope of the project is complete installation of fire fighting system for comprise of Plant building, Storage building & Administrative building. The fire fighting system consists of wet sprinkler & fire hydrant system, deluge system, foam system and FM 200 systems. Around 8Km of FF pipes, 2000 sprinklers, 22 hydrants, 5 no of FM 200 units, 2 no of 2500 GPM fire pumps & other fire fighting systems were completely installed and commissioned in just 5 months with very minimal manpower under my direct execution & supervision.
Project 3 : Eastern University hostel building G+3, Sri Lanka
Position : Junior Mechanical Engineer

Scope & Description :
The project scope is to complete the civil and MEP installation of 6 buildings of G+3. I worked as a junior mechanical engineer for this project and handled the Mechanical installation which includes fire protection, plumping & drainage system for whole buildings & climate system for administration building.
Significant Responsibilities:
Design & selection MEP (HVAC) system for Low-Rise and Mid-Rise Buildings
Preparation of Material Take Offs (MTOs) and Estimation
Review contract scope of work and specifications.
Conduct on-site visits to make sure the site specifications compare to the design specifications
Review the shop drawings and make technical corrections
Attend the client meetings

Project 4 : Biomass 2 MW Power plant, Attapaallam, Sri Lanka
Position : Trainee QA/QC Mechanical Engineer
Company ` : Hairu Engineering consultancy
Scope & Description :
The project scope is to build a 2MW biomass power plant. Lifting, Erection, welding of boiler, steam drums, coils, filters, chimney and conveyor belts were supervised. I worked as a QA/QC engineer for mechanical installation and reported to chief consultant directly.
Significant Responsibilities:
Supervised the construction of Biomass steam power plant (fabrication and erection)
Involved Commissioning and maintenance
experience of Working above 200 feet of height with safety cables in hazard places
Project coordination
Follow the project Planning timeline and Quality Assurance
Loading and unloading heavy machineries (above 15tons)
Made sure the Safety of the site

Preparing MEP drawings for given preferences
Preparing MEP coordination drawings & MTO list
Assisting the design engineer
