➢ Preparing B.O.Qs for Fire Alarm and Fire fighting System.
➢ Preparing B.O.Qs in the tender drawing.
➢ Deriving the Bill of quantities based on the drawings.
➢ Reading & analyzing the sales enquiries including project details & specifications.
➢ Analyzing & Estimating total man hrs & material requirements for the derived BOQ.
➢ Coordinating with management, client engineer & Supplier for the successful completion of
entrusted work.
➢ Implementing & strictly following the NFPA, UAE fire codes.
➢ Attending technical meetings with clients & Supplier if required.
➢ Very good experience in Installation and Maintainence of Fire Alarm, Gaseous Fire
Suppression Systems, Gas detection, Fire protection system, Public addressing and Emergency
voice evacuation system, Emergency lighting control.
➢ Operations of Fire alarm and Emergency light monitoring panels.
➢ Troubleshooting and Maintainence of Existing Fire Alarm Panels.
➢ Study the requirement, technical specification and technical drawings of Fire Detection
Protection, Suppression and Security Systems.
➢ Installation of Automatic Sprinkler System, Hose Reel, Fire extinguisher, Fire Pump, Fire
Hydrant.
➢ Execute testing & commissioning of Fire Alarm system.
➢ Execution of Fire fighting systems (Fire Fighting Pumps, sprinkler system) on site.
➢ Correction of design drawing using AutoCAD.
➢ Responsible for providing technical support to technicians and supervisors.
➢ Carry out site inspection on completed works with Electrical and Mechanical Coordinator &
Consultant in accordance with the approved shop drawings.
➢ Perform works inspection with QA/QC, Electrical and Mechanical Coordinator and
Consultant and preparation of Works Inspection Request (WIR) for approval.
➢ Evaluates monthly progress billing & progress reports.
➢ Execution of the project and materializing the purchase orders.
➢ Organize & evaluates suppliers submittals and quotations.
➢ Preparation of Material Request in conformity to the project requirement
➢ Prepare/facilitates As-built drawing and O & M Manuals for handing over.
➢ Check shop drawings, coordination drawings and specifications of the project to insure the
results indicated are being achieved well.
➢ Manpower handling and job assignment.
➢ Coordination with other contractors and building contractors for smooth operation on site.
➢ Attending site meetings concerning the progress of work.
➢ Handle responsibilities coordination with of supporting co-engineers in controlling and
supervising.
➢ Identify and update site progress and equipment issues to the project manager.
➢ Prepare Operation and maintenance Manual for the working projects.
➢ Involved in the Technical answering.
➢ Design the drawing using AUTO CAD.
➢ All Installation as per NFPA and U.A.E fire codes.
➢ Sound knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Office, NFPA Codes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Manufacturing of DC Motor Control Panel, Toroidal Wire Wound Rheostat, Loading Rheostat.
Ø Troubleshooting of Control Panels and rectify it.
Ø Testing of Auto Transformer, DC(Series, Shunt, Compound)Motor, Universal Motor, AC Series Motor, PMDC Motor.
Ø Solar Panel should be wiring by the method of Bus Bar.
Ø Assist in the development and design of new Control Panels.
Ø Participate in the “Design and Development” process for new incoming orders.
Ø Review quotation and Collect available drawings to design a control panel.
Ø Check for proper tooling, Contribute to the physical assembly of new products.
Ø Hands on mechanical assembly and electrical wiring.
Ø Double check completed work.
Ø Provide suggestions for improvements to better support future orders.
Ø Assist with final QC, packaging, and shipment.
Ø Assist with daily operations of the manufacturing plant.
