• Advising and guiding the Client Manager time to time in strategic and technical decisions for the benefit of the group.

• Perform design review with the engineer, fire life safety consultants, system specialists and other key stakeholders to ensure the MEP design is in line with the owner’s project requirements.
• Provide technical advice to Fit out team engineer, contractors, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider, regarding installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of MEP System.
• Critically analyse and report any value engineering proposals.
• Liaise with authorities like Dubai Civil Défense and Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority during design, construction upto final approval and handing over stages.
• Monitor the work progress and review the Interim Payment certificate and advise the Engineer accordingly.
• Represent the Lulu group for factory visits for major mechanical systems.
• Attend weekly progress meetings, MEP technical meeting, testing and commissioning meetings at regular intervals to ensure the smooth project flow throughout the entire lifecycle of the project.
• Coordinate, liase and guide Engineer, Contractors for major MEP installation, T&C inspections and major MEP materials inspections.
• Raise site observations for MEP defects as and when required.
• Oversee fit-outs and small works; carry out design review on submitted drawings from tenants, ensuring owners services and assets are not harmed.
• Monitor the performance of MEP service providers; escalate any non-compliance of service providers and tenants to FM and mall operations team.
• Effectively manage property costs and liaise with GM to ensure proper budget management for facilities.
