• Implement approved departmental policies and procedures and ensures adherence with the processes implemented so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
• Manage cost control on site and be able to complete and confirm all works
• Process and Approve MR, PO, S/C Agreement, PC, MRV, MIV within 10 Working Hrs of their creation
• Daily Verification of the cost allocation of transaction to cost codes and reallocating as needed within 10 working Hrs of the entry time.

• Be able to reflect the workforce Productivity report and Man-hour trends and include in MPCR
• Prepare monthly project cost report (MPCR) and review the same with management before 10th of every month
• Provide accurate calculations of budget transfer and achieve no more than 10% correction at final approval stage
Al Khor Expressway
Highway project of length 32 kilometers which includes 10 interchanges, micro tunnel, Qrail crossings, all wet and dry utilities, landscaping & irrigation works, traffic signs & signals, street lights and all other related mechanical & electrical works
Nature of work
Working in 'Cost Control dept.'
• Taking breakdown quantities for analysis and cost works
• Quantity takeoff and budget preparation for the additional tender works
• Analyzing the ‘Value engineering’ Claims
• Quantity bifurcation from takeoff sheet and drawings as required by the planning activities breakdown
• Providing support and assistance for cost analysis and budget preparation
• Updating the cost analysis sheet with the revised BOQ’s whenever the design changes
• Analyzing the drawings and following up with the design team for the missing items
• Briefing the BOQs of both internal and sub-contractors under the scope of items and finding the quantities & amounts accordingly
• Reconciliation of materials
• Mapping each Item of IPC with the Unifier and tracking the progress of the Sub-Contractor and submitting the monthly report
• Reviewing project scope change and prepare change order request, schedule impacts and adequate budget and funding
• Reviewing subcontractor, vendor and consultant invoices
• Tracking the Machinery payments from Oracle entry report
Worked in 'Tender Dept.' where the major projects include high-rise buildings, malls, villas, sub-stations & power stations.
Nature of work
• Detailed Quantity Surveying of projects at the tender Stage
• Prepare/ review of BOQ from the drawings and scope of work
• Provide support & assistance to cost estimation, procurement and execution team
• Report and rise queries regarding contradictions in the tender documents
• Prepare and send enquires to sub-contractors and to receive the quotations from them
• Analyse the rates of each item given by different sub-contractors and preparing comparison statement
• Conducting site visit and preparing the report at the pre-tender stage
Strategic Electronic Production Facility at Kasaragod
The project was to construct a branch factory of H.A.L, Hyderabad, Avionics division. It includes construction of different buildings, concrete roads, external service lines, elevated water tank, underground water tank, watch towers, boundary wall with electrical fencing and landscaping works
Nature of work
• Quantification of the work done as per the actual site measurement
• Preparing the running bills every month for the claim and getting it certified from the client
• Preparing the Final Bill after the project completion and getting it certified from the client
• Planning and scheduling of whole work and daily updating of progress as per the plan
• Provide support and assistance to store and site execution team
• Forecasting of the material requirement as per the schedule
• Quarterly reconciliation of materials to check the consumption
• Preparing Deviation Order that are not included in the BOQ and claiming the same from the client
• Preparing rate analysis of extra items for preparing deviation order
• Attending all site review meetings, internal and with clients and preparing & documentation of minutes of meeting
• Documentation of all quality requirements to support the running bill and final bill
