Job Description
Control Room Engineer at Naphtha Isomerization Unit:
o -Unit operation convert light naphtha and hydrogen gas at certain conditions to isomerate with octane number in range 89-92 used in gasoline production industry.
o Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the facilities in the plant control room on a 12 hour shift basis according to approved procedures and operating manuals.
- reliability run for the unit
- routine operation at the required load
- preparing work requests for minor and emergency repair of plant equipment,
- preparing work permits for supervisory approval
- Making log book entries describing maintenance needs and unusual operations for use of the next shift.

o Make sure the operation work properly and meet factory and management specifications.
o Analyze operation problems and discuss ideas to solve it.
o Manage maintenance, repair & troubleshooting of Equipments including blowers, pumps, centrifuge, valves, filters, chemical reactors, surge tanks, cyclones, fluid & flash bed dryers.
o Interact with computer and software engineers, quality control specialists and others to increase efficiency and establish best practices.
o Shared in the s.pvc unit the start-up and entrusted the responsibility & normal operation of the dryer area.
