-Identifying innovator ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments;
-Locating or proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities;
-Screening potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities;
-Developing negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goal;
-Enhancing organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;
-Analyzing alternative business development approaches and strategies;
-Assisting the Regional Manager in Business Plan preparation;
Responsibilities including preparation of technical and financial proposals for various types of projects including infrastructure and transportation projects, international airports, industrial plants, power plants, residential and administration buildings, office facilities, hotels and touristic resorts, water and wastewater projects and others; duties comprise:
• Proposal preparation and submission, follow-up, etc., up to contract signature.
• Guiding, directing and coordinating proposal preparation procedures as well as managing proposal preparation team. Reviewing and appraising the proposal operation for effectiveness, efficiency, economy, and conformance with established standards of performance.
• Maintaining and following up with clients during contract implementation.
• Participating in the production of the company promotional material including credentials, newsletter, project experience sheets, curricula vitae, etc. Updating information in the ECG Database for all potential opportunities and a detailed follow-up on all projects of interest for which proposals are to be prepared.
• Preparing/updating registration forms with international organizations, authorities, and ministries.
• Contacting all levels of company, client, national and foreign government officials, and representatives of competing organizations, vendors, and financial and professional groups.
Responsible for electrical designs; lighting designs, power designs; voltage drop and short circuit calculations using computerized software, panel schedules calculations using computerized software; preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ); cable sizing, generator sizing; lighting and power distribution as well as drawing using AutoCAD program..
