• To carry out day to day Mechanical work inspection requests.
• To check the quality and conformance of Mechanical items delivered to store.
• To arrange the mechanical work inspection request as per the look ahead programme provided by construction team.
• To raise Mechanical work inspections for giving wall plaster clearance, ceiling closure and prior to any casting.
• Liaising with Construction Managers and carrying out internal inspections of in-process installation work for AHU, FCU, VRF system, Water supply, drainage, HVAC Duct, Fire Fighting pipe, Sprinkler System, NAFS125, Fire cabinet etc. Carrying out visual Inspection & snag list preparation.
• Liaising with Construction Managers and preparing a weekly work inspection Request (WIR) schedule. Ensure WIR will be carried out in accordance with contract requirements.
• Preparation and submission of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) related to Mechanical system.
• Preparation and reviewing of Mechanical installation check lists.
• Reviewing of Sub-contractor’s PQP, ITP, method statements, checklists, commissioning forms etc.
• Participating in Mechanical Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and site Acceptance Tests (SATs) as per the requirement of the project and FAT/SATs documentations is field in accordance with the project Filing System.
• Assists lead QA/QC to prepare the monthly QA/QC report.
• Preparation of daily progress report.
• Monitoring of Mechanical construction activities to ensure that adequate inspection and supervision is planned and conducted with respect to project construction activities and operation.
• To inspect Mechanical construction activities, report all observations, verify compliance as per ITP of QA/QC plan and the applicable codes and standards and record all tests.
• Participation in Mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are required by the project. Testing & Commissioning of Heating Ventilation and Air-conditioning system, plumbing & Drainage system, Fire Fighting System.
• Closing and issuing of Non Conformance report (NCR’s) and Site Observation Report (SOR’s). .
• Reviewing of Operation and Maintenance Manuals for Mechanical systems.
• Official handover of project to the client.

• Preparation of Installation Method Statements prior to commencement of work. And assistance in the development and review of specific task project method statements.
• Preparation & updating of the ITP as required and developing installation check list where non standards works are included in the specification.
• Preparation of MRI (Material Receipt Inspection) formats for incoming plant and materials and carrying out inspection with the consultant or other third parties as required by the contract to ensure that only approved materials are installed.
• Preparation and maintain the MRI Log.
• Obtaining relevant certificates of conformance from the supplier and presenting during the MRI process. All certificates are then filed in project filing system.
• Preparations of all relevant project installation check lists and test and commissioning formats.
• Monitoring all Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Networks aspects of the project to ensure compliance with approved and proper standards.
• Inspects and tests electrical & mechanical parts, assemblies, and accessories prior to installation for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Manage safety aspects when dealing with Electrical & mechanical networks installations.
• Monitor Electrical & mechanical Installation to ensure that only approved materials are being used in the permanent works.
• Check the materials delivered on site in order to ensure the quality and compliance in accordance with the approved material submittal.
• Check the Request for Inspection and Testing (RFIT) and Materials Delivered on Site (MDS) prior to its submission to consultant.
• Liaising with Construction Managers and carrying out internal inspections of in-process installation work. Carrying out visual Inspection & snag list preparation.
• Confirming RFIT for in-process works aims to cover 10% of the installation.
• Maintaining RFIT records.
• Ensuring that a ‘Benchmarking’ process is applied. Confirming, the first RFIT carried out on a particular type of installation shall be benchmarked. (Benchmarks will pass RFIT without comment - typically A status and Benchmarks are photographed. Operational staff is advised and are shown benchmarked work to follow the same.)
• Coordinate with the consultant and subcontractor regarding the installation inspections and testing.
• Perform preliminary inspections prior to consultant final inspections.
• Maintain full site records, including daily site diaries in an approved format, and formal monthly progress photography.
• Prepare reports related to inspection and quality of the works.
• All site inspection shall be carried out an official Inspection Request Form (IRF).
• Verify with ITPs that all relevant test results related to specific IRF meets the project requirements.
• Installation Inspection of AHU, FCU Water supply pipe, drainage pipes, HVAC duct, Fire Fighting pipe, Sprinkler System, NAFS125, Fire cabinet etc.
• Installation & Erection of Control Circuit & Laying, Connection of LV Cables to the different Pump Motors.
• Installation of Telephone outlets, fire & smoke detector, Heat detector, Motion Sensor, Flasher, Speaker, TV outlet, Intercom outlet & panel.

• Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report to Construction Manager/ Project Manager.
• Make sure that the latest edition of the approved shop drawings, MS, PQP and ITP as per the project master index
• Rising of NCR’s, Closing out of NCR’s and SOR’s
• Preparation of QA/QC reports on monthly basis.
• Maintaining of QA/QC documentation appropriately.
• Review the relevant As-Built drawings as submitted to Contractor and make sure that all site conditions are properly addressed.
