Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing cost accounting reports.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions
Assist in validation of internal controls via cycle count audits, annual physical inventory, validating internal procedures and policies that are being followed and monitor all audit reports.

Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system
Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems
Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses
Update bill of material standard costs
Report on breakeven points by products, work centers, and
factories
Report on margins by product and division
Report on periodic variances and their causes
Analyze capital budgeting requests
Perform cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group
Coordinate physical inventories and cycle counts
Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles
