Responsible for the successful operation and financial accountabilities of all areas of the club. incharge for the delivery of superior customer service, achievement of high employee and member satisfaction and leads the sales, lead generation and local marketing efforts. They are responsible for achieving membership sales goals, developing and mentoring the sales team, so exception sales, leadership and motivation skills are critical, ensuring the success and quality of work of the facility's staff, ensures that all staff are adequately trained on how to fully execute their own duties as well as work as a team and maintains a safe work environment, responsible for the recruitment of new staff and enforcing disciplinary actions when necessary, responsible for recruiting, training and supervising staff, managing budgets, enhancing profitability by organizing and delivering an appropriate range of fitness activities and programmes, keeping statistical and financial records, maintaining fitness equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, maintaining customer service standards, undertaking administrative tasks, promoting and marketing the business, dealing with enquiries, complaints and emergencies.
