Manage the workgroup on the site
Follow-up of all stages of the project, to conduct a daily check of requests for receipt Review summaries submitted by contractors
Study the quality of work and prepare daily and monthly reports Approval of samples submitted by the Contractor
Hold periodic meetings with contractors to solve problems Coordinate activities, equipment and information
Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives Make certain that clients' needs are met as the project evolves
Monitor and track project's progress and handle any issues that arise
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans
Meeting with engineers, architects and contractors on an ongoing basis regarding project objectives and progress.
Ensuring budget costs relating to wages, contractors, materials and equipment are not exceeded.
Ensuring the construction process starts and ends on time, and ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met. Ensuring compliance with health, safety and all other regulations.
Issuing SI's and VOs to project management.
Quality control inspections of works carried out on site by the contractor.
Keep records of work carried out in the field. Reporting non-compliance to the Site Engineer. Keeping field records of site resources.
Advise Site Engineer of any site events that are likely to impede progress or cause non-compliance. Keep Safety Engineer informed of risky activities and non-compliance in the field.
Accept approved requests for inspection from the Site Engineer and attend the site to witness tests to ensure compliance with the specification.
Check contractor's materials on site and proper storage and handling on site.
Provide general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
Participate in the development of quality control reports and procedures.
Participate in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports. Maintain office files related to the project, quantity calculations and writes daily diaries.
Prepare daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract. Verify that only approved materials are incorporated in the work.
Perform labor compliance interviews and maintains as-built plans.
Recognize potential conflicts, issues and problems, and reports to supervisor with proposed solution.
Collect, review and files Certificate of Compliance, MSDS, inspection tags and other information relevant to the materials used.
provide technical guidance to lower-level inspectors.
Coordinate work of subconsultants for surveying and material testing.
Participate in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports. Report on installed quantities to verify applications for payment and change order work.
