- Budget Management:
• Owns all Internet core network budget planning, budget submission and budget reviews for CAPEX and OPEX (DB, 2+10, 5+7and 9+15) in addition to the Long range plan (3 years budget) and liaise with technology leadership team and finance for budget approval
- Contracts and Vendor Management:
Lead all Internet core Network contract negotiation in collaboration with SCM and Contracts teams.
- End-2-End Data dashboard:
• Acts as a SPOC for Aligning capacity planning for the data end-2-end
• Full visibility for the data network path in terms of throughput & capacity
- Internet core Calendar & KPIs:
• Owner for the Internet core calendar
• Aligning the Service management on quarterly basis by the calendar progress seeking support and facilitating both teams work
- Managing Network Planning & Strategy teams to perform the below major tasks:
• Participate on all the commercial planning activities in terms of calendar creation and prioritization of the commercial activates
• Liaise with Group to ensure best practice sharing and to benefit Vodafone Group's from Vodafone Egypt's capabilities and experiences
• Setting the annual/long term technical investment plans for the core IP network department
• Reviewing regularly the needed CAPEX/OPEX figures against the plans, received forecasts and issued orders
• Manage the communications of the internet strategy across all stakeholders, including Vodafone Group, to ensure full alignment
• The only responsible for the International Planning and deals finalization with the international providers to provide VF-Egypt with its international needs
• Performance Management to ensure the analysis of all network performance reports KPIs, Drive tests to find quality of service problems
- Managing Network Planning & Quality Control teams to perform the below major tasks:
• Manage the MPLS and ADSL Networks planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
• Manage producing, presenting and acquiring necessary approvals for different network related projects business cases
• Responsible for setting capacity planning (short/long term) regarding to core; edge and access of IP MPLS and ADSL Networks; preparation of cost models; new technology, solutions and equipment testing
• Second line support for presales in complex and advanced projects
• Responsible for ensuring consistent quality of service for our network/customers
• Give support to Procurement team for RFQs and tendering
• Performance Management to ensure the analysis of all network performance reports KPIs, Drive tests to find quality of service problems
- Managing a team of 7 personnel handling rotational 24/7/365 work shifts
• Monitoring of the whole network, predicting and intervening in all customer problems that might affect the Quality of services offered
• Compiled entire documented process list for all department processes and policies regarding technical support procedures, escalations, and record of resolution.
• 2nd level escalation for the customer calls
• The main contact with the international bandwidth providers for all problems
