: Working as a member of (kahramaa-National Control
Center) SCADA/EMS teams who are responsible for:
Core Functions :
o Maintenance and up-keeping of Energy Management System which is part of National Control Centre (NCC), Doha Grid Control Center (DGCC) and Emergency (ENCC).
o Acting Senior SCADA engineer
1. Locating and clearing faults in NCC/ENCC Energy Management System as:
o NCC and ENCC Software Maintenance such as Data base Modifications, Display Modifications, System Software
Maintenance and all SCADA activities maintenance etc.
o Distributed computer system network of servers and work stations.
o Computer networking Switch, Router and Firewall.
o Providing Full system administration and technical support.
o Performing backup and restore.
o Management of reports using crystal report.
o Management Data exchange between control centers ( GCCIA and DCC).
o Telemetry Front END systems.
o Communication Front END systems.
o Line printers, Laser printers and Data loggers.
o Data Communication System.
o Perform Point to Point and End to End tests.
o Hardware Maintenance of system devices (servers, workstations, PCs and peripherals).
o Installation, Maintenance and commissioning of Wall Display Board ( BARCO Company).
2. Preparation of annual budget requirements.
3. System maintenance of control System cyber Security implementation
including documentation, risk management, requirement, assessment
and recovery plan in control center and substation/outstation
4. Preparation of spare parts requirement and ordering.
5. Assessment of quotations of materials ordered.
6. Upgrading and updating of the present system.
7. Evaluation of subordinates.
8. 24hrs On-call duty.
9. Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate
supervisor.
