Job description

• Review the tender documents (including Instruction to Tender (ITT)) to analyze the prequalification requirements, and assign relevant tasks to tender engineer.
• Review all technical and financial documents from suppliers and subcontractors for tenders
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals for tenders and shop drawings for in-hand projects
• Follow up on all mechanical works on sites
• Review subcontractors' invoices and compare them to approved site quantities and clients' invoices
• Evaluate, implement and modify supply chain strategies Surveying the market for new suppliers and expanding the scope of work
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure delivery quality and reliability, hold suppliers accountable when underperforming and escalate to commodity managers when required
• Review incoming purchase orders in terms of lead time, quantity, and need by date, and take inventory of each material to ensure maximum value for the company.

Planning & make studies for projects.
Installing ( Executive engineer for pipng instrumentation drawing *PID*
Running the equipments and Observing it With maintenance.
AutoCAD Draftsman for spare parts and follow up manufacturing.

Start up operation of plant
Operation of centrifugal equipments.
Operation of pneumatic systems.
Operation of hydraulic systems.
Operation of water lines.
Operation of steam lines.

Responsibilities in detail
◘ Reporting to the projects Manager
◘ Make New Extensions Proposals and feasibility Studies
◘ Prepare requests for quotations (RFQ’s)
◘ Preparation and follow-up of tenders
◘ Review Quotations & Offers Technical and Commercial Sides
◘ Upgrading the old equipment to decrease the cost of the project
◘ Storage and Organization of the project equipment ( Machines, Chemicals, utilities, .. )
◘ Mechanical installation of new machines according to manufacturers recommendations
◘ Tanks, Silo and vessels Fabrication
◘ Supervise Piping installation
◘ Co-ordination of mechanical, electrical and civil works
◘ Schedule preparation and resource forecasting for Projects
◘ In charge of performance management of the architectural, Contractors and engineering vendors
◘ Ensure projects are completed according to project plans.
◘ Manage project team resources and training
◘ Inter-discipline coordination and overall quality control of the engineering work
◘ Piping systems and design strategies - documentation, P&ID, flow diagrams - capacities and limits
◘ Pipes Inspection - Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, HDPE, PVC - Visual Inspection, Geometrical Inspection and Material Analysis
◘ Follow Machines Installation & Commissioning.
◘ water treatment stations (High pressure pumps, Sand Filters, Multi-Media Filters, Activated Carbon filters, cartridge filters, cyclators, RO Units )
◘ Inspect all new mechanical parts and decide on which goes to production and which stays for repairs and which gets rejected
