Company Profile: Geosciences Testing Laboratory (GTL) is a diversified independent testing
laboratory providing specialized testing services in the fields of Geotechnical investigation,
Environmental Analysis and microbiological testing accredited by Dubai Accreditation Centre
(DAC), Dubai Municipality and Emirates National Accreditation System (ENAS)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Microbiological testing of Finished Products, in process and raw materials, water.
Performing swab tests in personal, machine, equipment and other contact surfaces.
Manage the overall functioning of the laboratory
Attend to internal and external audits
Supervise the sample analysis on Microbiological parameters
Monitoring indoor Air quality by using passive and active sampling methods.
Legionella monitoring and identifying from different water sources
Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of chemical
disinfectants and antiseptics in food industries, domestic and institutional areas
(Radial-Walker coefficient of disinfectant)
Shelf Life study and analysis of various food products.
Preparing reports and presenting results. Responsible for investigating the unusual /
unacceptable results
Collation and analysis of results highlighting any areas of non-compliance with
product specifications.
Maintaining and review documentation such as SOP’s and test formats etc.
Maintaining good laboratory practices, Lab equipment performance and calibration.
Participating proficiency and other Inter Laboratory tests.
Aseptic sample collection from Hotels, Swimming pool, safety shower, cooling tower
and other water outlets.
Performing RTPCR.
Microbiological and Biochemical testing of raw and finished spices products.
Microbiological analysis of Total Plate count Coli forms, Yeast & Mould, E.coli
Staphylococcus Aerues, salmonella, shighella, Swab Analysis for Workers And
instruments etc…..
Handled HPLC instrument for aflatoxin analysis and heat value for chilli powder.
Keeping proper records for all microbiological activities.
Verification of personal hygiene in each staff and providing training for Good hygiene
practice to newly joined staffs.
Maintain accurate log books of all performed procedures and records

(HACCP) (ISO 90012008) (ISO 22000) (BRC) (HALAL) Certified Company.
