• Responsible for sampling, testing, and documentation of the Quality Management System (QMS) including procedures, records, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
• Samples food products daily for taste, quality, brix and pH levels.
• Preparing and conducting sensory evaluation.
• Submits product samples for microbiological testing; evaluates the results of this testing and communicates the appropriate corrective action.
• Monitors sanitation inspections of all food production areas and equipment.
• Maintain the safety, legality and quality of each beverage and the processes used in their manufacture.
• Monitors pest control program.
• Documents and report the results of investigation of problems and complaints to senior quality and food safety management as appropriate.
• Prepare plant evaluation reports and submit to manager.
• Keeping quality documentation up to date.
• Ensuring activities in the quality plans are carried out.
• Preparing and analyzing information for the purpose of Management Review.
• Evaluate and take corrective action when necessary.
• Consult with plant management and personnel on better operational procedures to improve overall efficiency and product yields.
• Prepare internal audit plan.
• Confirm that plant audit procedures are properly carried out.
• Resolve major quality problems at production facilities and warehouses as required.
• Ensure that products are produced at the rate needed to meet customer demand.
